Agreeable hotel near the Megamas business&entertainment area.
Great views from the room, facing Megamas harbour, which was unexpected but nice! It would have been nice to have a carpet in the room as it was tiled only, and COLD to step on when the AC is on. Complimentary hotel sandals were useless - thin and of poor quality.
The bed felt comfortable at first, but the next morning husband and I both had terrible back pain :( It would have been a much better experience if the hotel had invested on quality mattress.
Service is okay - quick but lukewarm ie not overly friendly, typical of old, big hotels.
Worth mentioning was the in-room dining. We ordered Manadonese fish stew and oxtail soup. We thought that the taste would be toned down to suit all market, as it is usually the case at Indonesian hotels. But we were glad that this wasn't the case. The food was superb! Wonderfully spicy :)
Good enough for 1 night stay before our trip to Siladen Island.
