This hotel is surrounded by yuki shopping complex where very excess for food. Mcdonald is just a walking distance and if you are hunting for local food there is a food court at th back of the holet and also a walking distance. This hotel is good for muslim since this is the only hotel serve halal food for breakfast and also the first muslim hotel in medan. The staff here arevery friendly and have wifi acess in the entire hotel.if any muslim would like to stay i medan i would highly recomend this hotel.

Only a 10 minute trip from the airport with no reservation I managed to secure a good deal in a delux room facing the mosque #408. The hotel is typically muslim and caters for married couples, wedding parties and the like. Although this time I was travelling alone as a single European on a business trip.

The key cards had to be re authorised as I could not use them in the lift... Although the operator on the front dest was extremely helpful. From arrival at the hotel to walking through my door took about 10 minutes.

Tea, coffee and 2 bottles of water were accompanied by a huge single bed. Bathroom amenities were adequate for a 2 night stay with clean towels and large double door shower. Room service had a good selection of foods available and not too expensive...

If you don't mind being woken early dawn about 5am then get a room that faces the mosque... A glorious view to behold in the early morning. Breakfast caters for many individuals locally or internationally... Rice dishes, cereal, various eggs, fruit juices and a good selection of local dishes to set you up for the day ahead. Staff attentive in clearing away used plates and in keeping the service areas clean...

Behind the hotel there is a small collection of restaurants where you can choose whatever food you like... Give them your table number and a food runner will bring it to your table and you pay on delivery... Average meal cost are 11,000-20,000 IDR so better to take lots of small notes if you have different restaurants bringing foods at the same time... Staff will try to help as much as they can with the obvious language barrier, but it all adds to the atmosphere and the enjoyment of this typically local environment... Unfortunately there is no pool or fitness facility at the hotel.

It you yearn for the usual fast foods, there is a McDonalds opposite in a mall... Various offerings from shoes, wallets or clothes. You need to go to the cashier first to pay for the goods then collect the purchase after payment... On the top floor there is a games centre and rides which is reasonable for the kids to enjoy. As well as a kitchenware and children's department... 5 or 6 floors of shopping space will help you lighten your purse or wallet if you desire.

On checkout I was advised there is an international departure tax at the airport 75,000 IDR which I was not aware of so I was grateful for the information. Also the hotel provided a complimentary shuttle to the airport at 12pm...

A joy in the city and I would be happy to return...

Room Tip: Rooms facing the mosque are good but be prepared for an early morning wake up call about 5am and the...

The only good thing about this hotel is the location which is located so near the grand mosque of Medan and also to the city center. This is an islamic hotel, so please dont be suprised if you see sign telling married couple cannot check in together or something like tat!! anyway, the hotel food is mediocre, the service is also average and one more thing u should know is because of the location, the hotel is always dusty and noisy.

We stayed for only two nights. Strategically located. Room was a little worn out and the furniture were kinda outdated. Nevertheless, the room was clean and neat. Breakfast was modest but sufficient. Overall, for the price we we paid, we considered it was value for money. No big issues.

I regret not having read the reviews online prior to staying here. There are no quiet rooms in this hotel. You hear the city traffic 24/7, and at night you get the treat of the loud karaoke music. The service is horrible. Just getting them to switch me to a new room was a feat in itself. The rooms basic and worn out, food nothing to rave about, the taxi they arranged for me to the airport never showed. It wasn't the taxi's fault either.

If budget is your concern there are other better places to stay for the same price.

Room Tip: Noisy wherever you stay. Views don't make up for sleepless nights.

The place is strategic. The room is clean. The laundry service is awful.... I stayed in Madani Hotel (Medan) from Nov 19-21 and didn't have a nice and warm atmosphere.

It's not equal what you pay with the service.

I asked for a quiet room away from the mosque, so they put me in a room in the back next door to a Karaoke joint. The windows are very thin so I had little sleep.

They said breakfastt would start at 6 so I arranged to be picked up at 6.30, but when I got there at 6, they were 25 minutes delayed so I had to rush it. Breakfast looked alright though.

Rooms were big but old and the wifi was the worst I have ever had. Not a happy stay.

Room Tip: Bring earplugs
