Bahai Gardens and Shrine

These carefully groomed gardens are just beautiful, leading you quietly to the small shrine. Take the time to absorb the silence, inhale peace and serenity. Look at the shapes of the flowerbeds - they matter. The shrine itself is a small building, featuring a main hall surrounded by 5-6 meditation rooms, each covered with a gorgeous Persian rug (I would have loved to get any of them :-). All in all, it is not a must but I believe you would enjoy visiting there.

Although it's smaller and a bit less impressive than the Haifa Baha'i Gardens, it's a must. No entrance and no guided tour fee. The visit will take about one hour.
If you like to see brides posing for photos in their Wedding Day, this place is one of their favorites and it's easy to understand why.
Comfortable shoes will help you to walk on the pebbles.

If you are planning to see the gardens you must get a guided tour (which is free). There is no other way to see the upper garden. The queue for this can last some time and there is a rather misleading sign placed about 8 feet away from the main queue saying that the tours leave from that location (rather than the gate nearby)

The shrine is only possible to visit between the hours of 09.00 - 12.00 but it is well worth a visit. The architect planned for the shrine and the gardens to be 'like a diamond set within a ring' and they are certainly amazing.

Visited the Gardens in Haifa. Get the train into Haifa & get off at Haifa HaShomona station. We took a cab to the top but were too late for English tour by 3 mins. We had to do the tour in Hebrew. You can't visit the gardens unless via a tour. Breathtaking and so well worth waiting to see. Everyone should visit the Gardens

Beautiful visual site along these terraced well manicured gardens. It is UNESCO World Heritage Site. The tomb is spectacular as well with ornamental gold work and flowers. The gardens it what made this a wonderful experience for us in Haifa.
