“Great hotel in akko within a historical building”
Reviewed 2 April 2014

We were well received at the Akkotel, the staff is very nice and full of advice on the city. The building is from the templar period, well refurbished with lift and modern facilities. rooms a little but small, bathroom well equipped. Parking easy just in front of the hotel

This hotel is so rich in history! If you just think about it, a long time ago some knight may have roamed this very hallway it's amazing! The rooms are spectacular and very clean. The best is when you go to the rooftop and watch the sun set over the old city. The furniture in the rooms is beautiful and of great quality. It's in a quiet part of town and a great place to just go out from the hotel and go to the market place. There is wifi everywhere in the hotel for all you internet lovers out there. If you choose this hotel during your visit to Akko, you won't regret it!

Room Tip: The room for four is amazing there is even a little staircase leading up to a second floor with two...

great location in Acre, in the middle of the old city. Beautiful room, extremely high level of furniture, decoration, and service. A family-owned hotel makes you feel at home. A must stay when in Acre.

Akkotel is set into the great city walls - full of history and grandeur. The hotel has a sombre feel that relaxes as you walk in the door. The staff and management (I think we dealth with the owners) were extremely helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with lovely old furniture and views of the historic city of Acre. Breakfast was comprehensive. Overall, I rate this a very good hotel.

Best place in Akko. Convenient, easy access, fresh and clean. The building is 250 years old and preserved beautifully. Rawia and her family are committed to great service and best value. Definitely would come here again.

Akkotel is set into the great city walls and the place has a massive and slightly sombre feel that probably suits summer heat better than winter weather. The staff and management were extremely helpful and the rooms comfortable. Breakfast was good and overall we would rate this a very good place from which to visit historic Akko. (While there, don't miss the excellent Uri Buri fish restaurant.)

I recently stayed at the Akkotel with my family, and we enjoyed it overall. The Akkotel has a great location in the Old City. The Old City itself is much more run down than I expected, but the crusader ruins are impressive and the central souk is fun to walk around, so we thought it was definitely worth a visit. The staff at the Akkotel is really nice, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. We had a family room, with twin beds in the loft, which my twin girls loved. Breakfast is good. The sound insulation between the rooms isn't great, so if you're a light sleeper and have a noisy neighbor, this can be an issue. But overall we enjoyed the Akkotel very much.

Room Tip: Family rooms with loft are very nice.
