Abe's is reliably good fare priced reasonably for the area. The seating is unpretentious. If you are pretentious, you will hate it (and most of Northern New Mexico, except Santa Fe, which is painfully pretentious.) Anyhow, the tiny shop/restaurant is connected to a bar. This is the only bar I've ever been into where the space BEHIND the bar is almost bigger than that in front. A good place for an after ski drink and a good place for a cool beer on a hot summer day. Lot's of locals here, if you like getting the local scoop this is the place. Go in expecting basic American beers, not imported Belgium triple fermented lambics. Don't miss Abe's if you are in Arroyo Seco.
