I must take the time to recommend the restaurant here. The staff were attentive, the wine was excellent, and the food especially the Salmon was cooked to perfection. If your in the area try to have a meal here you wont regret it.

Mid-century modern. Bizarre zigzagged hallways. Reasonably well kept. Wifi is only free in lobby area. Free in-room wifi for paying guests has become a basic expectation of mine. This expectation was not met. Food was adequate. Spent one night traveling with a group.

Dear motopolitico,
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts following your stay with us; it is through comments from guests that we are able to develop service delivery.
Throughout the hotel, every effort is made to ensure the highest levels of guest experience at all times, so we are always happy to hear comments. In this online interactive world we live in, wifi is agreeably becoming more and more of a necessity for travelers. As Israel's leading hotel chain, Dan Hotel's have become the first luxury chain to include any free wifi access for our guests, available in the lobby area; we will ensure the chain management receives your comments for further hotel wide complimentary coverage.
Furthermore, should you decide to join our e-dan club, members receive an additional one hour of free in room wifi every day of stay.
We'd hope to have another opportunity to welcome you in the future,
best regards,

Having stayed in Dan Boutique Jerusalem and Dan Tel-Aviv before, I expected the same level of hotel from the Dan caesarea. I felt like it was not up to par in terms of facilities and rooms and to us it felt over-priced compare to the room we were getting, with an atmosphere that was not as luxurious as we hoped. We actually had another couple visiting along with us and they felt the same so we ended up moving to a hotel in Tel-Aviv and traveling with them out of the city. We had dinner buffet on-site and I found it wonderful.Yes, I LOVE DESSERTS! Also, important to mention, the staff were very helpful. I would stay here with kids and family, but for a couple vacation, I would recommend to skip this location.

Having recently completed refurbishing the public areas of the hotel, more work is due to be completed this year on the rooms and spa area.

“Great for families with kids and Golfers”

Reviewed yesterday NEW
Set in a large parkland, away from busy streets. A giant pool with a huge roped off shallow area, policed carefully by guards who are firm but polite, no “Beachwatch” poseurs there. There is a basketball area, and a snack bar as well as a BBQ by the pool. Lots of adjustable recliners and shades and no end or towels and cold water to drink (Israelis are very careful not to dehydrate). There is a supervised toddlers "Club" for face painting etc. The Spa has an excellent masseuse and a well maintained gym. The rooms are somewhat spartan, but this is a family resort, not a 5* hotel and they do not pretend to be one. The housekeepers clean all day, the place is spotless. There is a golf club down the road. Now the food. Israel has the healthiest that I have seen in 6 continents. No more humus and falafel (you can get it in big towns and villages if you want). Israelis love their breakfasts, it is the best meal of the day, and breakfasts at Israeli hotels and kibbutzim are legendary. At Dan Carmel, the range and quality of foods boggles the imagination, and it is all buffet style, one price. Everything from cereal to fish of many kinds, breads in lots of varieties, pastries, sweets cooked food, great coffee. Lunches similar, try the outside BBQ. Speaking of BBQ, last visit they turned on an evening BBQ in the main dining room, that spilled out onto the veranda. I counted 40 different vegetarian dishes and over 12 different meats. Trust me, you will not starve here. Now the staff. Most are Arabs from the nearby village, and the services manager is also an Arab. This manager is quite the consummate professional, he has eyes everywhere and quietly orchestrates everything. He has his staff trained to perfection, and what nice folk they are. Israelis generally are very attentive to children, and they are well looked after here. Dan Carmel is an eye opener, here you will see the real relationship between Israeli Arabs and Israelis of other confessions, and you will understand just how different it is from the mad media. While there, take a trip 15 minutes by car to Caesarea port, built by Herod to ingratiate himself to the Roman emperor. By the waterfront, there are several outside restaurants that serve fresh seafood (as well as other food) and also a Suchi place. While there, go watch the movie that shows the history of ancient Caesarea, and don't forget the amazing Gelato bar. Bitei Avon (means "Bon appetite" in Ivrit). Nearby is the vineyard town of Binyamina, near to to the railway station is a little bakery/coffee shop called "Lechem Borkin". Lechem means bread, Borkin are the owners. All the locals know it, great pastries, bread and coffee (see the photo), and it is great for breakfast too. I cannot review it, because Trip Advisor has no (yet) listed it. It is also worth a tour of one of the 2 award winning wineries in nearby Binyamina.

Room Tip: High up, overlooking the pool, a corner room. Join the Dab club for discounts.

We arrived late and left fairly early from this lovely place (while on a tour). The dinner buffet was fabulous. The grounds were lovely and inviting. Nothing negative at all. Would certainly return and stay longer.

We're glad you had such a nice impression, travelwhere, even on such a short visit.
The extensive grounds of 60 acres, are indeed inviting, shame you didn't get to really enjoy them, hopefully on your return.
Looking forward to the next opportunity to welcome you,
