“Weekend at the Patoral in Kfar Blum”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 February 2014

Our company organized a mixed business/social long weekend at the Pastoral
We spent 3 nights (Wed- Friday) at this hotel, where I personally stayed at the "Boutique" level room.
The room was spacious, with separate and good sized bathroom, comfortable bed, a balcony overlooking the large expanse of grass. Location is very peaceful. The Boutique rooms are arranged in 3 buildings that are spaced widely, and are a short distance from the main building.
There is a spa which we did not use, but looked very inviting,
The food service was very good, with plenty of choice. Staff were very accommodating.
Overall - a very good experience.
The genera location of the hotel is convenient for the northern Galilee part of Israel.

Room Tip: Not far from the hotel is Doris Butchers meet restaurant - a very good choice for carnivors (Rosh Pi...

Benefits of the property derive from its location. It is ideally suited for car travelers:
In the very middle of the Northern Israel, one hour proximity to all conceivable attractive places from Gennesaret to Hermon, close to the bank of Jordan River. Two hill ridges protect the valley from the winds, creating a mild microclimate both in summer and winter.
The large rooms are rather simple, but you feel their willingness to please the guest: bathrobe, slippers, excellent toiletries, even an espresso machine in tea corner! I would highly recommend the comfortable rooms in the newer section, but they are more expensive as well.
Most the cottages are facing a grassplot – it would be very nice to sit on the balcony, unless the lawn is full of kids. By the way, the balconies are tiny and equipped with massive and uncomfortable iron chairs!
The property has a huge outdoor swimming pool but a truly miserable spa.
By no means your stay will be luxurious and worth the price required.

The Pastoral hotel is a real gem in the countryside near the Golan Heights. There are old and new rooms and we were fortunate to be in the new section. The room was particularly large with all modern conveniences. The bathroom was better than most 5 star hotels and there was a balcony with a lovely outlook. If you book make sure that you request a room in the new section. Note that it is about 5 mins walk from reception.

The food at the restaurant is average and a little bland, which is the only reason that we wouldn't give it 5 stars.

While traveling in the north.in the Gallil we stayed in the Boutique Rooms and are they ever special, well appointed and the bathroom has the best bathtub! Even on a cold rainy night and day we enjoyed the meals, the mini museum with pictures of thef ounders and the nice walks back and forth. Go for it!

As an Israeli tour guide I love to take my tourist to Pastoral-Kfar Bloom hotel, because of the great location, comfortable rooms of different classes. committed staff, cleanliness, quality of food, and Dubi, the hotel director!

Room Tip: the new part is the best

We had a renovated room, beautiful and comfortable. The food was excellent. Gorgeous pool. Friendly and helpful staff. The gym hours could be more accommodating, but overall we had a really wonderful stay with Kfar Blum and will definitely return on our next visit to Israel!

This hotel-resort is beautifully located in the north near the Jordan river and not far from the Dan river. It is ideal for a short vacation in the North of Israel . The place has comfortable rooms with all luxury and many rooms are just opposite the Hermon Mountain. It is a quiet place with the atmosphere of a kibbutz. There are musical weekends and many concerts there too.
The restaurant is excellent with a very good Chef. A pleasure to stay there.

Room Tip: Ask for an up graded luxury room that faces to the Hermon.
