The owning couple run the place since the good old hippie times, why in 2009 an Israeli movie maker screened the film "Land of love". The place got more quiet throughout the years, no more hippie glory, but a place full of enjoyable people with their kids.
One can spend the night in cabins, or simply put up your own tent and celebrate live with family and friends.
In an old Arabic house on top of the hill is a fine private museum with all the stuff the couple found on the beach or in the area in the last decades: from Phoenician artefacts to early 20th-century shipwreck items.
The place has its own beach which is protected from high waves and bears a sun-shade. If you don't sleep there you pay an entrance fee which covers the museum and the use of the beach and the National Park Tel Akhziv next door.
