The rooms were acceptable, the wait staff attentive, the food fine - but we reserved the meeting room, knowing that it's a small room to begin with, but making do. When the time came to use the room, it was given to another group and we were asked to wait 1 hour while the wait staff took two beds out of a normal room for us to use as a meeting room! Points for creativity - but NO POINTS for failure to provide meeting room as promised!!

positive: the location, the view, friendly staff that help and just nice. good dinner
negative: the room - looks old, bad smell, bathroom appearance was dark and not "welcoming",
below average breakfast - the way the set up the buffet looks like a big mess.

overall its a nice hotel, with good value for money. in the friday night we stayed they had a singer in the lobby that sang different old spanish songs - we liked it.
just need to change bit the room appearance.

Room Tip: try to avoid the last floor - the rooms there are smaller with darkness atmosphere.

The appearance of the hotel is excellent. Panorama of Nazareth is great. It is located quite far from the center. The first room was very little light. I asked the receptionist to another room and it was very big, with a beautiful view over the city. Still missed the TV, although I had the remote and the phone did not work. The interior of the room was not yet 3 stars.

Room Tip: Rooms with panoramic city views are the best.

Spent a weekend at the hotel with friends - 4 couples.
The rooms are really minimal: two beds (pushed together t get one double) a WC and a shower.
It was small and crowded, with and old TV hung up on the wall. They do have an A/C which is a must, and obviously some closets.
The food was OK and abundant. We stayed on HB and got a really nice dinner, and the breakfast was also decent, even copmpared to the ones served as a standard in Israeli hotels.
The staff at the reception was not very condescending, we had to argue with them to honor their commitment in the booking (late return of the rooms). The staff in the dining hall was all the opposite: very polite and nice.
All in all: what you get is what you pay for.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view in the city

First Impressions: The façade of this family-run hotel has the features of an old church. After all, this converted 2-star hotel was once a Catholic convent. Although it retains the chapel, most of the interior looks very different than the exterior. So be aware of this: You are not sleeping inside a monastery per se.

PROS: Although not exactly at the town centre and POI's, it affords a magnificent panoramic view overlooking Nazareth from my room. Having an A/C, heater, elevator, free juice on arrival, free WiFi and parking doesn't hurt either. Family-friendly, the hotel has a playground and offers babysitting services. The staff are generally helpful.

CONS: Not exactly their fault, the hotel sits atop a hill at the end of Cactus Route so, even if it's an easy 10-min walk downhill to town, it will be a challenge on the way back on foot. Overall, the rooms are small and appears tired. My room had barely the space to fit the bed. The WiFi was spotty at best. The breakfast is tasteless and forgettable.

Verdict: This is a hotel meant for non-fussy budget travelers, looking only for a place to sleep --- nothing more. Excellent value for what you get. Relatively cheap by Israeli standards. Anything cheaper and you're looking at youth hostels and even poorer conditions. I would not necessarily discourage you from choosing this hotel, just don't expect a lot.

A quiet place, good for contemplation or to be with friends. Large and accommodating.

Restaurant has Hebrew menu only but staff is happy to explain and translate. View is over entire city of Nazareth and should not be missed-- day or evening. Pleasant and accommodating staff.

Lovely detail in the furniture in the lobby--- worth taking a second look at if you are unfamiliar with that design of inlay furniture.
