I was at the island with my family for a week and it was such a pleasurable stay. The staff were all so incredibly friendly and helpful- and this included every single member of staff that we came across. The hotel is beautiful and incredibly clean, and you really can't beat those sea views! Would recommend the island in a heartbeat!

I highly recommend Island Hotel, great relaxing after work location and good service.
I have been staying at Island many times and see continuous progress in quality.
Management willingness to help in sometimes untypical situations ( happened to me this time) is greatly appreciated. I would like more English speaking TV channels eg CNN.

We agree with other reviews that this hotel is amazing. It's views and location cannot be beat, sitting high on the cliff overlooking the Mediterranean. Our room was actually a modern suite, on on the 19th floor, which contained a dining area, kitchen and living room area. Unlike many topical Israeli balconies, this balcony was huge with a dining table in addition to lounging chairs. It was wonderful, sitting outside, feeling as though we were on a skyscraper, overlooking the ocean.
It was surprising that there is no coffee shop within the hotel, nor can you get any snack or refreshment upon arrival. It appears that guests are on their own to bring food in, or go out if they want to eat at odd times.
Although the hotel and room were clean and spacious, there were inconsistencies:
We were there for the weekend: Thursday night, Shabbat, and Sunday morning. Breakfast and dinner was ample, however quite amateur and disappointing. . To get a cup of coffee , guests have to use a faulty machine stuck in a crowded spot. The dining area was under staffed, so one person made the omlettes and handled the entire room! Definitely not what one would expect at such a beautiful hotel. Another surprise was that the towels were old and stained. We used the spa, and again , the spa had ripped bathrobes, and a dingy shower. This certainly did not fit our high expectations.
We would recommend this beautiful hotel because of its potential to be truly fantastic,
and hope the administration takes this critique as good advise to create improvements.

Room Tip: Use high floors

Excellent property, right on the beautiful south beach of Netanya. The suites are well built, all having excellent views of the mediterranean.
The only problem is that hotel staff and performance shouts of lack of professional training and understanding. Couple of examples:
1. We asked for an extra blanket. It took them an hour (after a reminder call) to send the security person, with the cloth they're inserting below the sheets to protect the mattress :-)
2. On our late arrival we've asked for a late check-out. Not something outrageous considering we bought a package which included a breakfast and massage in the next morning (and the spa opens only at 9am).The attending desk manager promised us only an hour (till 12pm), but said the manager can extend more in the morning. The following day, the manager gave us only 45 min (to 11:45) but changed it to 12pm after we told him what we've been promised in the evening. This screams of arbitrary decision. After that the cleaner still knocked on hour door persistently at 11am to ask us to ask us out.
3. Breakfast tables were not cleared. Food was reasonable. but no attendant was there to seat people arriving.
If lack of professionalism will persist, this hotel doesn't have a chance in competing with the other hotels, in spite of a great location.
The single light in the end of this dark tunnel is the spa service which was courteous and professional.

So I was struggling giving this place 4 stars, but in reality, the location is just too amazing. The hotel sits right on the coastline and has a gorgeous view from your balcony. The room size is absolutely splendid with a kitchen, stove top, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, and sink. Rooms were ok in terms of cleanliness. I was not very happy with the service at the hotel. If you needed any assistance, they were definitely available, but it always felt like I was making them go out of their way to aid me, almost like a nusance. Often times I would walk into the Hotel and I would just get stared down. Not a nice feeling.

Breakfast buffet is alright. Fresh seafood every morning with fresh vegetables and fruits. However, again, cleanliness is just ok.

I feel like the hotel was understaffed because it was during low season. I would go back to stay again because of how nice the view is and the room is very large and comfortable.

Great Hotel, Great location. We enjoyed staying in Island Hotel in Natanya. We stayed for one night in during the weekdays, took the SPA treatment and enjoyed every minute of it. Most recommended if you are looking for a place in Natanya.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite for almost 2 weeks. The room was wonderful. It had a great balcony with fantastic views up and down the coast. We had major problems getting enough towels each day. For some reason not once were towels left in the second bathroom. The biggest upset was when they charged me $50 for a late check out. After a 2 week stay at a great cost, I thought that this was mean. I have stayed here before and will probably do so again.

Room Tip: Higher levels have greater views.
