We stayed at the margoa for 2 days last month. Hotel prices in Israel are through the roof and therefore it's hard for me to talk about value for money. What makes this hotel special are the staff. from reception to housekeeping everyone and i mean everyone are exceptional. polite and friendly always. The rooms are basic and old fashioned but clean and comfortable. On that basis i would say that you can't beat margoa as your hotel in Netanya

We stayed 4 nights in this family run hotel. We were made very welcome and all the staff were helpful. The breakfasts were good and the Shabbat and Rosh HaShanah dinners were excellent with more food than we could manage! Our room with a balcony over looking the sea was a good size and very clean. We even had a bath in the en suite! The beach is just across the road with a lift to take you down to it. The hotel could not be in a better location. We would definitely stay at the Margoa Hotel again.

it had been 3 months since our last visit to margoa and we turned up without a reservation, intending to stay a couple of nights, before resuming our itinerary and heading back to Jerusalem for Rosh hashana.
we were upgraded to a 6th floor suite-with huge patio.
we were made to feel so welcome that we ended up staying 12 nights.
thank you shmuel. thank you daniela. thank you richard.
and a big thank you to micky - the founder of this family hotel who, at 95, still turns up to work every day, and then sits outside and shmoozes with the guests - often 'til after 1am.
if you are coming to netanya, margoa is the only place to stay - location, service, warmth.
[the only reason NOT to stay here is if you're a snob and stay at the new island suites, but you will probably be disappointed because it is WAY too far from everything, and you can't walk anywhere from it].
we are looking forward to our next stay, whenever that may be

Wonderfully considerate staff who very much relate to you as a person, within minutes leaving you withthe feeling that you are family. Very clean and well organized rooms. Location is best in Netanya as it is central to all the key things you could want to do. Just steps out the front door at to the right is the restaurant and shopping area while steps out the door and to the left is the beach.

Enjoy this hotel.

We stayed just one night at The Morgoa Hotel, as we were en route from Ben Gurion Airport to Haifa the fiollowing day. Although we arrived just before 10pm, there was a three course dinner waiting for us. Courteous staff and very clean room. Adjacent free car park too.
