The food was memorable, the ambiance was mellow and comfortable, we could converse easily, service was friendly and attentive, and the drinks were substantial and well-made. The meal was delicious. Appetizers and soups were delicious, especially the goat cheese with almonds, pear, and roasted garlic and the corn chowder. The chef-owner Salah prepared dishes with prime meats and fish and local fresh produce in exquisite sauces. I had a wonderful tuna with salsa made with peaches picked that morning. Others in our group had rack of lamb perfectly done, chicken Francaise, and pasta with grilled vegetables. Everyone was delighted with their choices, and we thoroughly enjoyed the bread pudding and the classic creme brûlée (presented with a candle to the 87 year old birthday celebrant). Altogether a wonderful meal that anticipates our frequent return.
