Well, this hotel is more of a resort than a hotel. The location, a suburb area of Tel Aviv where it is located is still a rare place to expect a huge and grand premises like this one.
The place is huge. Spread over probably over 3 acres, it has all facilities, more than any other hotel I have been at. Just as you drive in, it takes you about 500 metres of drive way t even reach the lobby parking. The number of security personnel make you see the difference. You walk in and you are welcomed by the grand yet cozy restaurant just next to the reception desk. I was lucky to be booked into a room just overlooking the pool and also the garden.
Every morning you wake up to a garden full of fresh air, people movign around doing all sorts of stuff :) and ready for an early mornign dip in the pool. Gotta prepare for the chill though.
The air smells of the flowers form the garde. Prompt room service and I always wondered how they always managed to get a cab for me under a minute while I always had to wait for 20-30 minutes when I called for it by myself. The foo din the in house restaurant is excellent. Probably every cuisine I wanted.
The rooms are neat, well designed, clean and equipped with neat and massive LCD TVs.
Was a pleasure staying here and would love to stay anytime. Probably on my next trip to Tel Aviv this is being my home again.

We stay at this hotel for the first week of January 2010. We were surprised by being upgraded to a suite in the new building without even asking for it. The one bedroom suite was amazingly big, conformable, nice decor, a big balcony, a double shower bath combination plus an extra small toilet, 2 big size LCD TV's, refrigerator and a large bed.
the hotel stuff was very polite, efficient, and check in / check out was done in a meter of seconds. The full hot breakfast buffet was excellent and the service was very good. The hotel has a big free parking area for the guests. and as a guest in you can use the hotel sport facilities for free. There is also a full bar and a restaurant that provides full Launch and Dinner if you like to eat in the hotel. the location is excellent.
We will stay there again on our next visit ti Israel.

Spacious, well furnished, clean room and bathroom. Breakfast has very good choice and plenty of it. The sport facilities are great, fun place for children as there is a Safari park near by. Location close to Tel Aviv.
Only problem is the staff at reception, they are indifferent bordering on rude, making you feel unwelcome!

We have recently come back from the Kfar Maccabiah, where we were made to feel very welcome. The one bedroom suite was really comfortable and the breakfasts were more than adequate. We would definately stay there again if we were lookig for a similar location and were advised by the reservation team to call them direct for their best rates.

My husband and 11 months baby stayed at this hotel 4 nights in august 2009. We were in a suite on the 7th floor (kinda like a one bedroom).

The room was spacious, clean and had an extra separated restroom. Bathroom had shower and bath. Living room had desk, couch and chair, dining table, large closets space, a safe. Balcony with outdoor furniture. The kitchen was closed however (I am guessing that the owner of this suite rented by the hotel management, wanted to keep his kitchen kosher for when he comes. But you can rent one with an open one. 2 large TV plasma.

We were provided with a clean baby crib (but they don't have crib bumpers).
As a guest of the hotel you can use the large pool (with a lot of toys for kids) and gym of the country club (200 meters from the hotel).

Hotel has a nice and helpfull staff. If you come here for a wedding or a celebration ladies must know that the spa does not have a hair salon (you can ask at the front desk, they will recommend someone to come to your room from outside).

Hotel has internet access pretty much everywhere (room included) for 6 chekel per day. The little shop has everything you need (even cards). Vending machine, washing machine, dryer and iron by the exit door at each floor (ask for coin at the front desk).

A lot of things in the hotel is cash only or charge to the room so bring some cash (there is no ATM in the hotel or the country club, you have to go just outside of the complex, on the left side of the security guard office). It's not that far anyway.

This hotel has a shabbat elevator and have all the amenities for those of you who may be religious (no tiring of toilet paper, shabath elevator, kosher food etc.

Food was expansive but good at the hotel restaurant. English is not a problem in Israel.
This hotel is 15 minutes to Tel Aviv (but after 5pm during the rush hour week, you can have a lot of traffic that could add up to 40 minutes ! (be careful if you are going to a wedding at sundown).

If you are looking to buy baby food or wipes or other hygiene products SUPER PHARM is a store like CVS or Wallgreen. There is a lot of them. Closest shopping center in Ramat Gan is "the Azriel".

Overall a very pleasant stay compare to the two other hotel we stayed after at in Jerusalem and Bat Yam , this one was a breeze :-)

I've stayed at hundreds of hotels, and found that great staff can compensate for a myriad of flaws in the facility. At the Kfar Maccabiah, the opposite is true - an obnoxious staff can ruin the experience in what otherwise would have been a memorable stay. They act as if they're doing you a favor by even acknowledging your presence, and make you feel like a burden - not a guest. The facility is all about the sports club, and that is in a class all by itself. It's still not enough to bring me back again.
