“Weekend at Shulamit Yard”
Reviewed 24 March 2014

My husband and myself, together with two other couples stayed for two nights at Shulamit Yard in Rosh Pina last weekend, March 20th-22nd.
We were impressed by the site from the very first moment we walked in. The old stone yard, with its trees and flowers, some 130 year old tools, when Rosh Pina was built and the large and spacious rooms connect by a balcony facing a pretty garden.
The place was carefully designed with all the small details in mind. In the room we had complementary wine and healthy dried fruits. The room also include a small kitchen with complementary coffee.
In the main building there is a cozy lobby. We all set there, reading books from the library, listening to background music and having complementary coffee and homemade cookies.
Shulamit's breakfasts were outstanding and rich, served in the yard outside and included many homemade ingredients.
Shulamit was there to assist us when needed, but smartly never became a burden on us.
We enjoyed every minute there and recommend warmly.

From the moment you get in, you feel the soul of the place. Shulamit the owner keeps the authentic of the yard which was previously family stable. By its dream it became a boutiques resort that hugs you warmly.
The rooms are clean, have simplicity style and you can feel the attention in every detail. There is a large saloon that enables you to feel the history of the place and the town. You can relax and have sorts of tea and cookies along the day.
The breakfast is full of tastes, having unique dishes. You may expect a long breakfast, as you would want to get up from the table.
Although it is cozy, you still have your space in the open sky yard. The yard if full with green and there is also a swimming pool.

Last weekend was my third time at Shulamit Yard and i must say not only the hospitality is beyond expectation, Shuli, the owner, and her team keep the high standards and even get better every time we visit.
We have been a group of 12 people travelling in the north of Israel. checking inn was quick and painless, room are nice and have a beautiful view of the area, Shuli was helpful and attentive to all our needs (and since we were all women we had quite a few), sitting in the beautiful patio in the evening breez was just perfect and last but not least - breakfast is something that should not be missed - all home made by Shuli and her team.
Location is just in the center of Rosh Pina walking distance for restaurants, shops and hiking trails.
in short - perfect location in the north of Israel
The only thing i am not sure about is the pool. we havn't used it as it was too cold, but it seems to me that it is too small and not very useful

As a seasoned traveller, a hotelier by profession, and someone who has lived in Israel and visited regularly.... I have now decided that after staying at Shulamit Yard, that no visit to Israel is now complete without staying there.

The rooms are wonderful, the complimentary fruit and cookies are amazing, the pool is lovely and refreshing and the hospitality from the family would show up some of the best 5 Star Hotels around the world.

I cannot wait to go back!

This is a great place to stay. The accommodations are excellent and the decor is very unique. If you are into a quaint rustic setting this is the place for you. Breakfast is excellent and the gardens and greenery envelope this b&b. rosh pina is a great place to tour , galleries and shops a short walk from the yard.

The natural beauty, charm, comfort and services of both Shulamite and her inn are unsurpassed by any other b and bs or resorts around the world. Shulamite, the proprietor has decorated the interior and exterior spaces with treasures from her travels around the world. From running front to greet us on a cold night to make sure we could find her to heating the rooms, leaving delicious treats and fine herbal toiletries and ample towels, a first in any hotel, to serving a full Israeli breakfast even though we had only said continental, we had a most relaxing and luxurious stay in this gem of a town and gem of a resort. We can't wait to return. Israel is filled with charming auberges (zimmers) and this is the finest of all.

Room Tip: every rom is great, just depends on what size bed you want. All our ample and beautifully appointed...

While directly off one of the central streets, this unique B&B (8 rooms in separate building) is extremely quiet situated around a 19th century rebuilt farmers courtyard and is hosted by the owner herself, a genuine friendly and helpful person. Shulamit prepares the breakfast herself and it was a truly healthy homemade breakfast to last the entire day.
The local cinemateque is a two minute walk as well as two very nice restaurants, tea shop and other local stores. And no TV's - thanks for the quiet weekend!
