Shulamit Yard was a true treat. The rooms are perfect with every detail thought of. I slept so well during our stay. The courtyard is amazing for relaxing. We picked fresh oranges from the trees there. The breakfast is just out of this world!! It was not easy to leave after 3 days and I hope we have the opportunity to stay here again soon.

What a surprise to enter the charming world that Shulamit created. Every detail is spot on. The house is so well designed and the beautiful experience of meeting her in person, tasting her special home made cookies and walking into a lovely comfortable room that feels like home just adds to that satisfying feeling of knowing that you've arrived at the right place.

The peaceful courtyard has an old Olive Tree and other local Northern Israeli trees and greenery.
In hot days there is a sweet perfect little pool to cool off in and breakfast was by far one of the best ones ever. Year it was not easy to leave this perfect little "home away from home"

Room Tip: The second floor is a bit more private

Looking at all the reviews before this weeks' stay at Shulamit Yard I must say I was wondering if it was "too good to be true"...Well, after 3 glorious nights at Shulamit I too agree, it is a simply wonderful place to stay. Don't even bother looking for alternatives. The room was beautifully appointed, with supremely comfy bed, all the fixings to make shower and bath time enjoyable, AND a lovely selection of teas and coffees.

What makes this place so exceptional though is the owner, Shulamit herself. She's delightful, a warm but not intrusive host. The first thing she did was to show me where to find an array of mints, verbena and just about any herb one might wish to brew into tea. The breakfasts were incredible....very Israeli in theme with savory goodies like eggplant and tahini, but eggs available every day too, with an optional sprinking of fresh herbs or zatar- yum! And just when you're about to put your hands up and say "I give in, no more!" along comes a beautifully selected platter of melons and papaya.....No need for lunch after spending the night here...

Rosh Pina is a lovely village in the hills, perfect for exploring the local wineries. So make the trip north from Tel Aviv and you too will leave pampered and relaxed...

Room Tip: I don;t think there's a bad room in the inn. I had one of the middle rooms upstairs and it was v...

It was an experience in getting spoiled by a warm and friendly host, Shulamit in her beautifully designed and furnished surroundings, Every detail to give the guest the ultimate feeling of rest was provided for. The first review describes the place well so I won't got back on it, just add that I enjoyed the fresh garden herbs to make infusions with at any time of the day, the wonderful home-made breakfast in the garden and the very special collection of antique objects in the lounge. The rooms were modern but warm and inviting, each with a jacuzzi in the room and separate shower room and a exit to the back garden. The whole place is in style with the different cultures that people brought to Rosh Pina: a little European, some Asian and much of it Galilean from the 19th and early 20th century. It's a special mix and it was beautifully exposed. When you enter this place, you really leave the hectic reality outside. I'd really like to go back!

Room Tip: It's a very quiet place, so no television anywhere. There are 6 rooms for guests, as far as I sa...

It's not often that vacation lodging feels like home, but it does at Shulamit Yard - as soon as you walk through the doors. Shulamit herself is a warm and gracious host and immediately felt like an old friend. She has decorated the inn and grounds beautifully with finds from local markets, making it a lovely and peaceful place to relax. As food lovers. we couldn't stop exclaiming over the amazing breakfasts--salads, roasted vegetables, local cheeses and olives, eggs cooked-to-order, fruit from the garden....exquisite. We hated to leave Shulamit Yard and hope to return again very soon.

Touring in Israel always seems to be such a hectic experience for some reason. This time, my wife arranged a two day detour to Shulamit Yard, in Rosh Pina. The place looks pretty unassuming from the street, but once past the metal front door you are in a beautifully appointed, eclectically decorated guest house that can’t help but remind you of a Tuscan villa. As I understand it, the facility is a converted and renovated family farm. The owner, Shulamit (what a coincidence) is a gracious hostess. She greets you personally, shows you the lay of the land even helps with the bags. Throughout my stay, she always seemed to be on the property looking after the place or her guests. The rooms are located in a separate building from the main house. They are comfortable and well appointed. There was a welcoming gift of local wine and a basket of figs and dates. Each room has a little kitchenette set up. Coffee, tea(s) and milk all provided. Each room also has a balcony or patio overlooking the back garden. There are old growth trees in the garden that block what would be a spectacular view of Mt. Hermon, but perhaps the sense of privacy is worth it. The main house is a large open concept area containing cozy seating refreshments, baked goods, music, and books. All for the use of the guests. Between the main house and the guest house is a gem of a courtyard with tons of mature fruit and nut trees. Many places to read, in the shade. There is also a small plunge pool to cool off in. The courtyard is where you can have your breakfast. A feast of beautifully prepared fresh produce, cheeses breads and jams. I always passed on the cooked to order eggs because there was just too much damn food. For those who care, there is wi-fi throughout, but there is no TV in the rooms. I look forward to returning.
