“An excellent place for rest and relaxation - recommended!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 March 2014

a perfect place for a romantic vacation. My wife and I stayed 3 days in Can`an mountains suite, it was a very unique experience. The room has everything you will need: very comfortable and large bed, 2 TVS, Jacuzzi, private coffee machine, lovely bathroom. we really like the garden and also eating breakfast in it (Kobi has great home made jam). The room looks even better in reality than in the pictures.
Kobi and the staff are very welcoming and generous.
it is a place you'll definitely would love to return to it!

Room Tip: each room has a special traits. the honeymoon suite is smaller than the other rooms.

My wife and I went to Pina Balev on February 14 over Shabbat and stayed at the Royal Suite. Firstly, the tzimmer looks amazing, with a huge jacuzzi, comfortable bed and large TV, and a beautiful patio. Kobi was very accommodating. We are religious and he made sure that we had everything we needed for Shabbat. We were supplied with a Plata, Shabbat Timers, Challah, Wine, and a very delicious breakfast. Kobi also helped us with sightseeing, giving us suggestions. We definitely look forward to going back again in the future.

Excellent atmosphere, beautiful views, great hospitality, delicious food. Can't ask for a better place to relax and enjoy the beauty of northern Israel.
I stay here whenever I visit the Rosh Pina region on business, and I'm always happy with it. One day I'll have to make this a vacation stay so I can take advantage of all the benefits it has to offer.
Location is also in walking distance from many great restaurants, bistros, cafés, and bars.

We stayed at Pina Balev last week ( February, 2014), and we had an enchanted few days. Let me give you a flavour of this exceptional B&B. The owner's house is at the front of a very pretty, bowery garden whose path winds along to the guest rooms; a massive and beautiful old tree gives welcome shade, lush plants and sculptures add to the charm of the discreet seating areas. We treated ourselves to the large suite - well, it was Valentine's day after all - which included a small kitchen and a newly installed hot tub outside on our verandah - very private, and overlooking another beautiful garden. The room had lots of little welcoming touches - wine, fruit, chocolates, biscuits, coffee maker, tea, fridge with fresh milk, and a huge tv screen on a swivel, which we loved as we are news addicts. Comfy sofa, dining and kitchen area, large and comfortable bed, reading lights - all imaginatively and thoughtfully put together, and very clean. The owner took the time to show us around and was extremely helpful with recommendations for visits and restaurants and seemed to have thought of everything guests might need for a lovely stay. We were asked whether or not we wanted room service, which we did, and it was thoroughly provided - for example, the room heaters were switched on for us before we returned in the early evening as the nights are cool at this time of year.
The weather during the day was perfect, though, so we chose to have breakfast in the garden under the lovely tree rather than on our verandah. Breakfast was fresh and temptingly presented; tasty omelettes stayed hot under the lid of their cute little pottery serving dish…. a flask of drinking yoghourt, fresh sliced fruit, chopped salad, good coffee, hot bread, home- made preserves….excellent! we have eaten a lots of yummy Israeli breakfasts over the years, and this one compared very well.
The owner, Cobi, who was friendly, charming, and very keen to make sure we had a good time, told us a lot about Rosh Pinah. It was settled in the late 19th century and has a historic area which has now been very well restored. There is a very interesting small museum with a photographic display about the early life of the new community in the late 19th century, photos of the children and teachers in the little school, the settlers, even the land purchase contracts with the surrounding villagers, beautifully drawn plans even showing which and how many trees belonged to which family. Rosh Pinah seems to be a very artistic and historic community, with lots of small galleries in amongst the almond blossoms and beautiful old stone houses.

Quiet and peaceful, everything within walking distance, and stunning views across the Galil from a specially built platform, Rosh Pinah itself was a lovely surprise; a small, cultured, artistic community with good local restaurants, lots of interesting and moving local history, altogether a lovely little place, and it proved to be well placed for exploring the Galil. It's within a half hour of ancient Christian and Jewish sites - Lake Galilee/ Kinneret is an easy drive, home to the 2000-year old so-called 'Jesus boat' which surfaced from the lake some years ago, now on display at nearby Kibbutz Ginosar after lengthy and loving restoration by Israeli archaeologists. Capernaum, stunning site of an ancient synagogue by the lake, Tiberias, with another beautiful ancient synagogue site featuring lovely mosaics and a 17th century hammam - all are within easy reach.
My conclusion - we highly recommend Pina Balev as a comfortable and delightful stay in a beautiful, historic, interesting location.

The place is peaceful and beautiful.
The owner is very nice.
Everything was perfect, from little treats like wine, yogurt, cake, fruits, to important things like heating in the bathroom.
I had a great time and I came back home with a lot of pretty pictures.

Room Tip: I recommend the "The Swiss Chalet Suite".

Joyce and I spent 2 nights last November in this wonderful place in Rosh Pina. From the moment we crossed the gate and entered the yard the feel was like being in another world of beauty romance and magic.
The old stone house with its history, the beautiful suites (we stayed at the Cnaan Mountain suite) are just wonderful with direct access to the wonderful garden and a private sitting area.
Kobi ,the owner, makes you feel at home ,always friendly and available if needed. The breakfast served outside under the trees was just amazing. Great place for anyone who look for unique, romantic special place in Rosh Pina.
Jacob.

Pina Balev is without a doubt one of the loveliest places we have ever stayed. Koby is such a gracious host. He and his staff make sure that all of your needs are met and they do it with such warmth and care.
The setting, overlooking the picturesque Galilee, is so beautiful and tranquil. Our suite was comfortable and spacious and provided us room to relax. Our balcony overlooked the garden and was the perfect place to enjoy the delicious breakfast Koby brought each morning.
Pina Balev is one of those places that you owe it to yourself to visit. It is one of our favorite places to stay and we are sure you will feel the same way.
