“Outstanding service and very successful visit”
Reviewed 26 April 2014

I am a professional Israeli tour guide but this time was working with my family who came from New Zealand, Israel and England. The range of ages was from 2 years to nearly 80 and the time of the year was Passover when prices in Israel are outrageous and I was so relieved to find the Safed Inn. We are traditional but not Orthodox and the level of Passover observance was sufficient for us. We arrived, a group of over 30 people and Riki and Dov could not have been kinder nor more helpful. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the open spaces were wonderful, the breakfast was delicious and all of us were delighted. It helped make our trip. Many, many thanks.
I do feel you need a car but perhaps not during the week. We had ample parking for our bus.

Nice place. There's a beatiful garden around the small houses with a few rooms in each. Very friendly guest-oriented service. It was our peaseful stay for 3 nights. The atmosphere in the Inn is free and easy, it is suitable both for moderately observing Jewish and for secular travellers. It's located not far from the town center (10 minutes by bus to and 25 minutes back by circular route / 5 minutes by car), also within a walking distance from the Biryya forest and mountain Canaan. We liked it!

Room Tip: Deluxe is good. Smoke from grills doesn't reach it that was important for us as vegetarians.

I stayed and B&B during Passover 2013. The place is absolutely beautiful, green and clean. Rooms are very neat. Even though the hostel might be a little distant from the center of Safed, there's a bus stop just around the corner. I had the chance to talk to Riki and she is a caring and delightful person to talk to. Very helpful with recommendations on where to visit and how to travel in and around Safed. The breakfast? Wow, amazing breakfast!

If it's your first time in Israel, and you are traveling by car (which is recommended during Passover, because transportation can be an issue this time a year) it might be a little difficult to reach it, BUT IT IS TOTALLY WORTH IT. Otherwise, you should call the B&B, they'll give you any help you need to reach it.

There is something You have to taste in - order before staying Israel breakfast. Safed Inn is quiet place, rooms are clean, not luxury but with all what travelers need, excellent staff, good price. We reached Safed Inn from north via small road (direction Birya Fortress) and no problem to search hotel! And not so far from Hula valley!

We stayed for one chilly and windy night in mid-March, (so we did not use the spa). The Inn is located in a very quiet section on top of a hill away from the downtown traffic. The room was fairly large with functional retro furnishings and nice touches like 2 large bottles of water and a fridge. Rikki was very helpful with directions and a recommendation for a lebanese restaurant that was open on Friday night. The 'continental' breakfast was fine after the large dinner the night before. She also suggested going to Rosh Hanikra on our way to Akko the next morning. Overall, is was a very pleasant place and great hosts.

Located somewhat outside of Safed (you need a car) in a residential area near a military post. Friendly owners, average but clean rooms and good breakfast. Special treat having a flag of each country of the guests. We were unlucky that there was a lot of noise / music from a house nearby till late at night, but I assume this is an otherwise quiet location.

We had a lovely and stimulating time. Conversation was tops, recipes shared, service attentive.
Breakfast came with all kinds of considerations, both the better and regular fare. My cousin and I were very happy with all the extra help with travel, recommendations and warmth. Easy in and out of town.
