“A pleasure to eat there”
Reviewed 26 March 2013

We found this restaurant by accident mid-afternoon. It was still busy with local customers, some families with children. Prices were very reasonable, portions in our case enormous, the food very tasty and the atmosphere friendly. We asked for a doggie bag which was neatly packed for us in minutes.

“Middle Eastern chef restaurant”
Reviewed 23 February 2013 via mobile

The Galilee if full of middle Eastern restaurants. This one stands as one of the best. We were accepted with worm and friendly welcome. The place is very spacious. For appetizers, about 10 different type of salads were served, all are delis use. We ordered different main courses. The "shishbarak" was one of the best. We also had two types of kebab, which were also very tasty. The price was very reasonable. I warmly recommend this restaurant.

“This chef understands what food is about!”
Reviewed 2 March 2012

Middle Eastern food is as abundant along Israel's roads as gas stations. Most serve traditional, edible, satisfying food. Ktsy Hanahal (pronounced Ktzeh HaNakhal) is surprisingly different. The setting is spacious and welcoming and clearly caters to busloads of tour groups, making the delightful food surprising. Due disclosure compels me to add that we would not have stopped there had not the chef, Yussuf Hanna, appear as a guest at the Israeli version of Master Chef.
On this night, the stormiest in Israel for years, snow falling on the Golan and in Jerusalem, the restaurant was totally empty, and the servers clearly thinking they will not see a soul. Well they saw two, and did well by them. The food uses local, known ingredients, in a novel way. The dishes were plentiful, VERY tasty, original, satisfying.... the meat was not overcooked as is usual in most Middle Eastern restaurants. we had the shihbarak, the hushkhash kebab, the koubeh and labene and all were worth remembering.
It is a good place to stop, good enough to make a detour. There is plenty of space outside for children to run and enjoy outdoors.
I hope the quality stays as high when the place - with enough room for two hundred - is full.

“Excellent Food!”
Reviewed 22 November 2011

While on a tour of Nazareth, Sea of Galilee, and Capernaum, we were fortunate to have lunch at Ktze Hanahal in Tiberias, Israel. The fish was served whole, along with french fries. It was definitely fresh and tasty. Before the fish was served, a course of various salad type dishes were brought out along with pita bread. The humus and tabulauh was the best I've tasted. These assortments of dishes were delightful. The restaurant had long tables set up and made for a nice lunch with fellow tourists. A great way to experience St. Peter's fish.

“Lebanese restaurant is a gem!”
Reviewed 2 December 2010

Our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids) arrived on Monday evening and were ushered in immediately. While we don't speak Hebrew or Arabic, the waiters made us feel welcome. The spread of food was unbelievable. We had all sorts of meats, salads and cheeses, each one better than the last. Our kids (ages 4 to 12) loved the variety and we relaxed with great food and glasses of wine. The meal was very well priced and good value. By the time we finished (around 8:30 pm), this large restaurant was quite full with many families. Definitely worth visiting.
