“Take a car and don't expect too much”
Reviewed 14 June 2014

We've been there with a large party of friends, staying one night only - this is why the price issue beat any other criterion. It was cheap, indeed. It is a former residence built by Israeli government for new immigrants, then refurbished and converted into apartments.
First - you should have a car if you expect to make Arazim complex as a starting point for any activity in Tiberias. It is high almost on top of the hill - a nice point if you are lucky and get a room with the seaview.
Second - it is very basic, which is OK for the price they charge.
But the owner (or owners?) is seemingly lost in terms of what he is selling - basic lodging or "luxury" - of course not! - apartments. The furniture is simple but of modern style, with synthetic carpets (13-years old like them) on the floor, and yes they are dirty. All details of the recent refurbishment are.. how to say it? not fixed: water leaks from sanitary appliances, doors closing with special effort, etc. But all in all - it is clean and it works. Rooms have A/C, flat TV, there is Free Wi Fi and a couple of computers in the lobby.
The breakfast is basic but "as luxury as we imagine it" - lots of bread, cottage and other cheese, butter and some jam, boiled eggs, vegetables (poorly washed), tea, coffee. They may put just a half of food on tables, but ensure its cleanliness just a bit more than "apparently clean". If you need low price in not-so-cheap Israel, this property suits you.

We stayed in Arazim Just one night. It is deffinitelly not luxurious, the photos look much better than the reality. The hotel is situated high on the hill, very far from the Sea of Galillee.

Our apartments was huge with big rooms (bedroom, livingroom with dining place, balcony, kichen and wc separated from bathroom). The view of the Sea was very nice.

Great, simple apartment hotel. Only a short drive to the city center. You need a car for sure, but the parking is free.

Wi-fi is fast and free. Bed is comfortable. Shower has plenty of pressure.

This is good place for an extended stay or a one-night sleep-over.

I think the word "luxury" should be taken out of the name. It was very basic and the apartments coldly furnished. I had booked 2 rooms for ourselves and our friends. On arrival we found there had been a mix up with the reservation and there was only 1 room awaiting us. On the positive side, a solution was found which we had not alternative but to agree to as we had no alternative options. This was that we 2 couples shared a 2 bedroomed apartment. There were 4 flimsy bath towels, and 2 small towels. Also 4 disposal coffee cups. Nothing else in the way of utensils in the kitchen. So certainly not what I would call "luxury". Another positive point was the low cost, but perhaps we should have realized that such a low cost that luxury couldn't possibly have been catered for.

I stayed 2 weeks ago and this appt complex has at least 2 big issues.

Parking: If you havent an israeli sim for your cell you will no be able to park inside the complex. Its gated so you need to send an sms to get in/out. Park at street and dont get crazy about their system.

Kitchen: If you rent an appt with complete kitchen you expect at least china , flatware, glasses and minimun tools for cook. Kitchen cabinets are EMPTY!! nothing there , no cups (for breakfast) no toast, NOTHING !!

I've spent 3 nights at the hotel, and was pleasantly surprised. I didn't expect much, the price was quite low and the area wasn't that thrilling, but the hotel itself, although it didn't have the luxury-hotel-feeling, was actually very comfortable. It has free parking space is great, especially because it is in the midst of Tiberius. the rooms are spacious and the WIFI is great (also free). The rooms are clean and the kitchen was fantastic. There is no real pool, only a small one kids like splashing around in. the buildings are scattered around the area and look like, well, a typical Tiberius neighborhood.
It is not a luxury hotel, but it is wonderful for those who look for a hotel on the budget.

The rooms are simple, clean and look straight out of an IKEA catalog. There was free Wi Fi with excellent speed and a TV both in the living room and bedroom. There was also a full kitchen. The staff were efficient. Overall not much to complain about.
