We stayed 2 nights at this hotel on our pilgrimage tour trip. The book was arranged by tour. Other Leonardo's hotel was more central close to the lake I believe.

This hotel was close to Galilea Lake but have no access to the lake. My room has no incredible view, since it was side facing room.

If your want to stay here, make sure you get "the front view and upper floor" in order to get the beautiful Galilea Lake to substitute its mediocre and tired room and facilities.

Breakfast / dinner selection was good. Perhaps thats quite memorable.

Room Tip: Front facing to the lake and Upper room

Dear guest,

Thank you for your comment. Thank you for the pleasant words on the breakfast and dinner at the hotel.

Among the three Leonardo Hotels in Tiberias, Hotel Leonardo Tiberias has a private beach and is close to the Galilee lake. As your stay was during January, during this time the beach is closed. Only on June the beach is opened.

In the hotel there are 9 floors and from all the floors it's possible to see the Galilee Lake ( Kinneret) only from a different angle. At the 5th floor we have the deluxe rooms which have a very nice upfront view of the Kinneret. They are a little more expensive.

We hope to host you again and provide a wonderful experience at our hotel,

On behalf of Leonardo Tiberias Staff and Management,

Ilana

We stayed a few nights with a group in this hotel. The hotel was clean but should be nicer and cozier if modernized. The meals and service were great. The personel in the lobby and diningroom were very helpfull and friendly, we felt at home.

Tiberias is a very popular destination for Israelis which is why it is full of ugly hotels that look more like housing projects than anything else. It could well be that this hotel is the best deal in town, but it's certainly not a good one! I got the impression that the Leonardo chain only purchased this hotel recently and have made some efforts to improve it. But so far they hav mainly been cosmetic. This hotel is a very, very run down dump that will still need a lot of renovation before I could recommend it to anyone. Two particularly annoying points: the A/C transports kitchen smells (think: frying fat) and bathroom smells from other rooms (!) into the room. Disgusting. Also: Internet access only in the lobby and even there only for a lot of money.

Dear guest,

Please accept our sincerest apologies on behalf of the hotel staff and myself for not succeeding in creating a fulfilling experience during your stay.

The Leonardo Tiberias Hotel is currently undergoing renovation starting from a new design, furniture, bathrooms and the beach area

As per the internet, we have fixed internet fees as we work with an external internet provider company. We offer internet access at the Lobby as well for a minimal charge.

I would like to reassure you that we always strive to deliver an extraordinary service and experience.

The Leonardo Tiberias is one of the three Leonardo brand hotels in Tiberias, and is further out from the town than the other two, about ten minutes walk north. I stayed here as part of a group, and as a base to stay for a few days, it met requirements; but it is pretty basic and utilitarian, and could do with refurbishment. No toiletries provided other than a soap dispenser. My room overlooked the noisy road, but had a lovely view of the lake and received the morning sun. The hotel's immediate vicintiy is not attractive, and neighbouring blocks and building sites seemed to be abandoned. It must be the end of the season as the "beach" opposite was locked up. The pool was opened though, and well used. The food was "OK". If I ever returned to Tiberias (and I doubt it) I would not choose to stay in this hotel again.
