I have been in the Scots hotel for a weekend with my wife. This hotel cannot be compared to the shabby old hotel in the area and stands out to be in an other league.
We have been in the modern rooms, which are a in a new building beside the historic ones, and we found them very comfortable and clean.
The restaurant is not kosher and this might be a problem for religious people, but therefore it's possible to eat ham, cheese, lobsters and cappuccino on Saturday...
The pool is a great alternative to the beaches and has also a nice restaurant.
The hotel offers free historic tours and music on weekends.
We had a great time and would come again although the relatively high price.
