We stayed at the hotel 2 adults and 3 kids. The hotel is very old although some renovations have been made. The check in was a nightmare people pushing and shoving and yelling at the poor girl at the front desk. We received our room at around 3 pm, the room was dirty (we even asked them to come vacuum again because my 10 month old who crawls kept finding stuff on the carpet to put in his mouth). Even after vacuuming we sill found left over food, and toilet paper and even an Advil pill (!!!) on the floor. Food was ok, sometimes even good. The pool on Saturday was very crowded, elevators at this hotel are a nightmare! Request a room on lower floors to avoid this. FYI to hotel management we noticed many times that visitors that are not part of the hotel coming to visit family with no problem, going to the pool, eating and even staying at the rooms. Why does the hotel have no control over who gets in to the hotel? We overheard several folks around the pool and in the dinning area and lobby saying they got in no problem. Bracelets are a joke no one checks anywhere. The only positive thing I have to say about this hotel is the staff. They go out of their way to help, any requests we had was met in minutes. Overall the guests at this hotel are probably the worst you will see of the Israeli people, mostly very very low class. We stayed at the chains hotel in Eilat and had a very different experience. My five year old had a nice time catching some kids shows and being a part of master chef they organized but the hall in which both were conducted constantly had no air conditioning and smelled like it hasn't been cleaned in years. We asked them several times (including the staff that puts on the shows for the kids) to turn the ac on, they kept saying right away right away, but it was never turned on, so we just left several times. All in all I will not be going back to this hotel, I gave it an average only because the staff was so helpful. If anyone from hotel reads this please fix your security at the front and start asking for an ID to get into the hotel.

Room Tip: To avoid elevators request room on lower floors.

We went to Leonardo Club for our yearly vacation and we enjoyed every single moment.
The food was delicious and the service was great.
The rooms were comfy, clean, and had a beautiful view of the Sea of Galilee.
The crew at the hotel was very helpful and responsive to our every need.
In conclusion, I recommend Leonardo Club Hotel to everyone who need a short break for just relaxing in the sun.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view of the sea.

We stayed here for a few nights in May and it was satisfactory although the room we were given for 2 adults and 2 children was small. The service was good and we were pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality of the food. There was a large, cheerful children's room and some light entertainment for kids as well.

That being said the hotel is in desperate need of a renovation (pool, rooms, etc.). This is an all-inclusive hotel but not a luxurious one.

Our group was booked here. Poor water pressure! No control over hot/cold water mix. Showered out of water stream to avoid getting scalded or iced. Experienced 100+ degree heat wave during our stay. So we really looked forward to relaxing and coolong off after sight seeing all day. Instead, we came back to a hot room, and during the night, with the A/C at full blast, the room remained hot. The Leonardo in Jerusalem was great, but this one . . . Avoid!

We stayed with friends at this hotel on Passover 2013. We paid a bit more for an upgraded room. They gave us a room with torn sheets, a dead bug in the bathroom, cobwebs and cigarette butts all over the porch, and water stains on the walls. Even the light switches were stained. When we complained, they claimed there was no room to switch us to.

At dinner, the couple at the table next to us put their daughter's potty on the floor near our table in the center of the dining room. None of the dining room staff felt this was behavior that had to be stopped.

The bathrooms in the public areas were dirty, with used toilet paper on the floor. The food was the same at every lunch and dinner, to the point that even though we paid for all inclusive, we stopped eating at the hotel.

We would have left after the first hour we got ther, but we came with friends, couldn't find another hotel available last minute, and didn't want to disappoint the children.

If this is your only option, stay home.
