“Paradise!”
Reviewed 3 September 2013

This beach is absolute paradise!!! It is in the area called Cote D'Or where there are several resort hotels as well as guest houses and a few shops, banks and a supermarket. The beach as fine white sand and the sea is turquoise. It is a great place to find a bat trip out to some of the other islands as there are guys working on the beach selling trips - don't worry they are not too pushy!!! Enjoy this stunning setting!

“Beautiful beach”
Reviewed 12 August 2013

This is a relatively busy beach (by Seychelles standards) but we never found it noisy and there's only about 5 other people in the water at the same time, normally less!
There are some local men who organise the trips to Curieuse who go up and down the beach looking for clients. This was the only place on Seychelles that we experienced this - we did organise a trip through Quentin on the beach, checked him out at our accommodation and paid a deposit. Everything went fine and the trip was great.
I think we were perhaps over friendly though as the same guy came to our accommodation one evening when he was obviously drunk and asked if he could borrow some money from us to pay for fuel for the next day's trip. We made our excuses, and I'm sure it was probably very innocent but we'd heard other people had been conned on this beach, so just be careful.

“Beautifull white sand beach”
Reviewed 8 August 2013

The sand is amazingly white and fine and it highlights the color of the ocean: pure turquoise.
There are small islets that make the view perfect.
In the village that is near this beach there are some restaurants and a nice Gelateria with delicious ice-cream, or you could try some fresh coconut sold by the locals.
The beach is quite long in comparison to the others on this island and it is great for walking along it.

“very soft sand beach and beautiful”
Reviewed 5 August 2013

we went there during the afternoon high tide period, and it was almost submerged under water wtih no sandy beach left for us to walk on. We have to walk in the water to pass through some area. The sands are extremely fine and soft and walking on the beach is already an experience that worth visting this beautiful beaches. There are also some small villages nearby where you can do some little shopping.
