“Among the Best”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 April 2014

The food here is very fresh, and the atmosphere relaxing. A couple own and operate the restaurant. She is the chef and takes traditional food to a new level with a subtle hand at seasoning. I have eaten this type of food in a number of countries around the world and in different cities in the USA. Phoenician's can be proud of their food. I do agree with the comments that say that the portions could be a bit more generous.

The pastries are made by family and are heavenly,

There is only one small area of difficulty. Robert is outgoing, warm, friendly, and a natural storyteller. Unfortunately, he likes to be the center of attention, all the time. When the restaurant isn't busy, he will come to a table to talk and talk and talk, about himself. He is entertaining, but at times we want to talk to the people we are dining with.

“Outstanding meal, warm and memorable service. Don't miss!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 April 2014

This is a little gem of a restaurant located just up the street from the Wolf Road corridor. The food is authentic and delicious and the ambiance and warm welcome from the owner, Robert, will make you feel like an honored guest in his home.

Get one of the Family style platters of mixed grill meats, it's the best way to try a little bit of all the flavorful meats.

The walls are painted with depictions of items and places that are important to Lebanon and the owner, make sure to ask him about them.

If I lived in Albany, I would be a regular!

“Excellent Lebanese and Mediterranean cousine”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 March 2014

The food is wonderful, This is one of the best Lebanese restaurants I have been. The place is not so big, but with a very nice typical decoration.
However, I consider that the highest point of this restaurant is the owner, that interacts with the guests and looks after every detail to make sure they are enjoying the stay.

It is a very nice experience.
