This hotel is in a great location on Haeundae beach and has a great value if you are on a budget. The rooms are large but but not very clean. The breakfast is terrible, with soggy scramled egg, very limited selection and really not worth the price.
The gym is just in a open space outside some of the rooms so if you like to work out in the morning you'll be waking other guests up.

Room Tip: Make sure you don't get a room outside the fitness area

Good hotel for the price, right on Haeundae beach - great views from the room and very large rooms. Very close to the metro too.

Gym left a lot to be desired, as it was in the middle of the atrium and looked like an afterthought. Pool was drained even though it was only late September and still very warm. No Wifi in rooms, although they have in room computers and charge 10,000 KRW for internet per day.

The room was very comfortable, but needed a bit of maintenance.

If you are looking to travel around Busan - this is a great hotel, but definitely not a resort experience.

I would highly recommend the Jimjilbang in the Shinsegae department store a few metro stops away, which is truly excellent.

I stayed at this hotel because a conference I was attending selected it as the office conference hotel. The room was very large, but the quality of the facilities is just so-so. The breakfast offers very limited selections and is simply not worth the price, but there are very few alternatives outside the hotel in the morning. Overall, the price is low, but so are the quality of the room and service.

Sea Cloud is a nice, clean and decent hotel in Busan. It is also very conveniently located near the beach and has several eating joints nearby.
However, I would like to know the email address of this hotel so that I could inquire about my spectacles which I had mistakenly left behind in my room on 27th June 2012. Alternatively, could you get in touch with the hotel's staff and find out about my reading spectacles? My email ID is rizwankl@hotmail.com
Thanks. Syed Rizwan

Right across from the beach. A little tricky to get in, as reception is on the fourth floor. Good restaurants and shopping nearby. So easy to get around with subway and buses. Very clean. Great breakfast buffet included.

It's less than 100 m from the beach (Haeundae), and we had a room with ocean view.

The room we stayed in (Twin room) was huge, with a kitchenette, A/C, computer, TV and a modern clean bathroom.

We only stayed one night, but I can imagine this is a great place to stay if you stay for a longer time. It's close to the beach and right on one of the main streets with tons of bars, restaurangs and cafés. Try the eel food on the small side street!

Perfect place to stay in Busan!

The hotel is strategically located at the Haeundae beach area. The room we had was very spacious and has a comfortable super-queen sized bed with a kitchenette area. The beddings and towels provided were of top quality. However no utensils or microwave oven were provided. We had a good view of the sea, in between the Novotel Busan and the adjacent Seacloud building. There was room for a small dining table with two chairs and a long side table for the flatscreen (but not HD) TV and a PC. The hotel was very clean and the toilet seat comes with a hi-tech attachment that allows you to wash and dry hygienically. The toilet comes with a separate shower cubicle. The reception and housekeeping staffs were very polite and provided quick service. We had no communication problem with them. Shops are all within walking distance. The nearest Metro station is about 400m away. When we were there, the swimming pool was under maintenance. There is a direct bus service from the Busan rail station. A taxi ride from the station costs about 15,000 KRW and took about 30-40 minutes.
Everything is excellent with this hotel apart from internet connection. There was no WiFi and you have to fork out an additional 7000 KRW/hour or 15000KRW/day to get connections from your room via the broadband cable. We stayed there for 5 nights, so, this was very big letdown for us. Free internet is provided via two PCs in the lobby but you have to share this with numerous other guests. I would have thought that a free room internet connectivity is a standard free service provided for guest in hotels nowadays, at least via the LAN cable. More so in the Republic of Korea, one of the top country in the world for internet connectivity. Luckily we managed to get some intermittent connectivity from the Novotel WiFi across the street. My meetings were held at the Paradise Hotel 5 minutes walk away and I managed to take advantage of the free WiFi coverage provided at that hotel.

Room Tip: I think most rooms have full or partial sea view.
