Our family suite was clean, spacious and comfortable, but no view.
Good location, and there were many coffee shops and convenient store nearby.
The staff were friendly, and helped us to arrange delivery services to airport with reasonable price. Also, free parking was available, this was important to us as we have rent a car for travelling.
Wifi was good.
Please be noted that some rooms got no windows direct to outdoor.

We stayed at the family room which has 1 queen sized bed and 1 single bed. The room size was pretty decent, and so was the bathroom. Bed quality was very good. The room was superbly clean. They have tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Although it is located in a pretty quiet area, it is near the shopping area and many major attractions such as the Jagalchi Market. We took a taxi and did not cost us that much. From Jagalchi you can basically walk to the shopping area opposite. Wifi at this hotel was super fast. Loved it. We borrowed an adaptor from the reception but had to deposit 5,000 won which we got back upon returning the adaptor the next day. Overall we had a very satisfactory stay here.

A hotel locates in the old downtown. The area is mostly for Japanese Travelers, you can see most stores have Japanese words. You can go to the aquatic product market lotte department store and shopping street on foot.Pretty nearby. At back is the hill while the front is the Busan old port. But I have to say the hotel is not well made,I mean I was woke up by the voice next door.Very clear. The room is poor made. And the breakfast is not included in the room charge.

I was on a girls weekend, and we stayed at the tower hill. The lady at the front desk spoke English, huge perk. The rooms, we had 2 twin beds, were ample size. We have more than enough room. The rooms were clean, the bathroom large. It's located near everything. Lotte mall, which is HUGE. A 10 mins (if that) walk to the Busan Tower, shopping and 300 coffee shops.
7/11 near by for that toothbrush you forgot, or buy one in the lobby. I would not hesitate to come back here again!

We chose the Tower Hill Hotel mainly for its great location - it's in the main pedestrian restaurant/shopping/market district, minutes walk to the metro and also walking distance to the fish market, Lotte department store and ferry terminal which is also where the excellent hop-on hop-off bus tours depart.

For a quick trip this area is ideal as Busan is quite spread out and getting from one district to another can take a long time on the metro. Most of the hotels are located near the beach district which is quite dull and shabby during November with not much to see or do, although it might come alive during summer.

The hotel itself seems very new with the rooms basic but immaculate, albeit small (but no smaller than you'd expect). Comfortable bed, small but decent shower, flatscreen TV with hundreds of channels. Wifi is free throughout the hotel, and staff spoke good English. Rooms on the reception-side can be a bit noisy with the window open, and rooms on the first 4 floors on the other side will look into the wall of the building nextdoor. Not a big deal if most of your time will be spent out and about.

So if you want a clean no-frills base for a few days in Busan in a lively area and near transport, this is a good cheap choice.

Room Tip: Top floor rooms not overlooking the reception/entrance are best.

I booked this hotel based on its location and it definitely did not disappoint, in this aspect. The hotel is walking distance to Nampodong shopping district (which is like the Myeongdong of Seoul), Lotte Department Store, Jagalchi Fish Market (the biggest in Korea), BIFF, Yongdusan Park, and lots of convenient stores (around 4) and restaurants and coffee shop nearby. There's even a small grocery across the hotel that sells seawood and Korean noodles in boxes, which you can bring home and give to family and friends.

As for the room, it's clean but the cabinet was extremely small. It also didn't have any drawers to put your clothes in. It's basically a no frills, basic hotel. It did come with free wifi and there was a kettle and hairdryer as well.

As for transportation, it's very near the Nampo subway stop and it's easy to get a cab as well. We took a cab from the airport and it cost approximately 19,000KRW with the small taxi. On the way back to the airport, we got a van since we had more luggage and it cost us 35,000KRW, Ride to and from airport took around 30 minutes. We also took a cab to Haeundae Beach and that was around 18,000KRW.

I was just a bit disappointed with the bathroom. It seems to lack exhaust and there was a weird smell.

Other than that, I was pretty happy with our stay.

Booked this hotel for a night as most hotels were fully booked. Hotel rating was at #3 at the time of booking but as I write my comments now...it's now at #17. Was not surprised with the fall, my overall stay wouldn't justify the high rating too.

It's a very basic hotel. Average hotel with not so good location. Good for overnight stay before going to Seoul.
