Toyoko Inn Busan No.1

It has small size room but cozy and very clean! What's more economic price. It is also near to the Busan train station, Lotte department store. I recommend anyone who wants to visit Busan.
But one of the disadvantages is that it is so far from Haeundae- Beach. It takes about 1hour by subway.

Me and my brother in law stayed at this hotel for 1 night in June 14, I was not impressed that we could not check in until 16.00hrs and had to vacate the next day by 10.30am, this was less than 24 hours, the staff were not friendly and the hotel had a bad smell like sewerage. This is a very basic hotel and if I had booked more than 1 night I would have been very disappointed. The beds were rock hard and it was very noisy all night, on the plus the bedding and towels were nice and clean!! I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, but as most of the other hotels were fully booked in this area we had no choice.

Westerners will find it difficult to sleep. Remember that Koreans generally like to sleep on hard surfaces (culture) and this facility is targeting non-western travellers.

Our Korean business host booked this accommodation for us.

When travelling in Korea, and being hosted, I always bring a self-inflating camp mattress.

I think there would be better faculties around for the same price. Maybe Ibis? I would check first if they have beds that suit western comforts

This hotel has the worst beds I have ever slept in! They are superhard! Like sleeping on rocks.

Otherwise it is OK. Convenient location for the KTX, although not the greatest area. Boring breakfast, but still breakfast. And it is cheap.

One of the main reasons why I repeatedly stay at this hotel is that it is located just next to Busan Station (KTX) and Busan Station (Subway). It is so convenient to just take the KTX from Seoul and drop my luggage at the front desk area and then go off to Jagalchi / BIFF / Haeundae / Centum City.

The room is clean and rather small, but the hotel cleverly makes use of the small space to provide all the necessities - TV, mini-fridge, in-room safe, work desk, air-con, shower gel, bath tub etc. There is no wardrobe, but a few hangars are provided for your clothes to be hung against the wall. The space beneath the bed allows you to push your luggage out of the way.

What I don't fancy is of course the late check in (strictly 4 pm) and early check out (10 am) and you need to be out of your room by 12 noon if you want housekeeping to come in. The free breakfast is really simple fare, so you may wish to give it a miss if you wake up late but it is fine for anyone who just needs a quick bite or some coffee. Just walk across the small road to the KTX station and there are lots of eateries there.

There are a few Toyoko Inns so make sure you get the right one you want. Tell the cab driver Busan Station, or Busan KTX, and you should end up at the right hotel.

The hotel is decent. Room, lobby, breakfast area are all small but clean. Stayed there because the city tour bus stop is just in front of the hotel. Subway is just a stone throw away. Breakfast is good, in fact, i look forward to breakfast every morning during my 5 days stay. Laundry machines and dryers are free. Just need to buy detergent from the front desk. All in all, a convenient hotel.

Nothing fancy but clean, neat n comfortable. Receptionists speak fair English. Location next to subway n Busan Train (KTX) Station, 7 and 5 mins walk respectively. There are coffee shop n convenient store round the block corner. Many restaurants across the main road n airport bus station pick up is on this main road too, again 5 mins walking distance.
Just make sure this is Toyoko Inn at Busan Station 1 because there is another one at Busan Station 2.
In addition, upon checking in, you spent 15000 won to register as member and immediately you can benefit 20% off from the room rate for the 1st two days and 5% thereafter. And you can use this card along their rest of the chain hotel in Japan too.
