“Peace and Humility”
Reviewed 7 December 2013

A patch of quiet in a noisy city. A remarkable coalition of nations who defended a people that would go on to create the 10th largest economy in the world.

“Very moving”
Reviewed 17 November 2013

If you have time it is well worth a visit. Very moving and informative; I had no idea how many nations were involved in the war until we visited. In such a densely built city finding such a large area set aside as a cemetery is quite a surprise.

Try and be there when they do the raising or lowering of the flag. There were no other visitors when we were there and the small group of soldiers still performing the ceremony and honouring the dead was very special.

You'll need at least an hour to wander around the various monuments, see the video and visit the museums.

It is about a 20 minute walk from the nearest station but easy to find.

“nice place”
Reviewed 17 November 2013

First of all I am always feeling gratefulness for those who sacrificed during Korean war for country which is hard to find on a map.

It is well maintained and cared by authority and you can also enjoy little nature in the city.
Be sure to not to wear way to much clothe.

IF the parking is full near entrance of Cemetery, you can park at Busan museum parking lot. From there takes around 10 minutes on foot.

Free toilets(absolutely)

“Unexpected beauty and peacefulness”
Reviewed 12 October 2013

We were very impressed with the grounds and the solemnity of this place. If their motivation was for visitors to feel the history and the pain of those that fought in the Korean war, mission accomplished. Please visit if you have the chance
