We had the two room Suite. great size well renovated - but - too few power points and all hidden behind furniture - glass panel doors between bedrooms (no privacy). No curtains or shutters on second bedroom window so light poured in waking you up before sunrise - light goes in to main bedroom thru glass doors. Agree with other comments heating system too complex and data only in Korean. Floor heating had been set at 30 degrees ! Lighting switching similarly complex. Was told the air conditioner only available in summer ! Lack of places to put bags (this is a suite) should have fold up bag tables in closet. Great location near beach and many good food outlet options. Staff very good and no doubt you would get used to "operating the room" after a couple of days

This hotel is just around the corner from the beach and nightlife. Room was excellant. Although don't turn on the floor heaters when it is hot outside. Don't mess with buttons by the beds.YOU WILL BURN UP! We stayed in the family suite with two large beds. The room was huge. One bed was a tempurpedic bed that raised up like a hospital bed. The other was plain. The bathroom was spacious also with a huge jacuzzi bath and a shower with the sprinkler head. Two computers also in the room in Korean of course. Soap, shampoo, conditioner hung on the wall for use. Men's amenties on the counter. Guess there are more men staying than women. Overall, very nice stay!!

We are staying in the family twin room and were really impressed with the extra things that we weren't expecting - a jacuzzi, an electric bed, loads of toiletries, coffee making facilities etc. The reception area and the room is a bit dark and gloomy but we like it here nonetheless!

The staff of this hotel speak fairly good english. However, the room cleaning work is not good at all. The room size is quite spacious for the Superior room. Its location is OK and it's about 7-10 minutes walk to the nearest Namcheon Metro station. It's not difficualt to find it since it's located next to the Mercedes Benz showroom building. The air condition is the big problem, it's too hot that I need to turn it off eventually. I saw another man had complained the same at the reception during my stay as well. No safe and even shower curtain are provided, but it has equiped an in room computer. I checked out at 5:40am in the morning and waited for 5 minutes at the reception, but still no staff was found. Such situation should not have happened, but it did. From the hotel to the airport, the taxi ride will take about 40 minutes and will cost about 20,000won. This is a typical 3 star hotel with western style decoration, may consider it if you've got a good rate.

Our tour of South Korea brought us to the city of Busan, as the guidebooks told us it was a surprisingly wonderful place to visit, and they weren’t wrong..! Thanks to Tripadvisor’s good reports, we booked this hotel, which we can now endorse…

From the enclosed photos, you can see that the room was compact, but stylish, spotlessly clean, with a polished parquet floor, a huge bed with delightful duvet and pillows, minibar, tea & coffee making facilities, powerful air-conditioning, and a magnificent bathroom with walk-in shower, together with a very sophisticated automated toilet ! And the television screen was as big as the bed ! Plus there was a computer for our use, free wi-fi too …and great soundproofing despite the fact we were in a busy part of town…

The price was very well negotiated (by our previous hotel, who phoned forward to reserve our room), bearing in mind that we were there for the weekend … 59 Euros a night ! At least 20 Euros less than usually quoted and an excellent price for downtown Busan … especially as the location was superb, if moving around by foot or using the underground (it’s between two metro stations). But how we ever found the hotel with our hire car was a miracle – thanks to the English-speaking navigation system, but still ! There was free secured parking, which was an additional bonus for a big city centre … and we left the car safely there whilst we explored using other means !

As hoped, we were extremely close to Gwanganli Beach and its breathtakingly beautiful bridge – just a ten minutes’ walk to the beach and all the trendy bars, restaurants, and very attractive promenade – by day and night this place is very special indeed.

It was thanks to the delights of Busan and the comfort of this hotel, that we had decided to stay an extra night – at the same reasonable rate - which meant that our three nights in Benikea Press hotel were very enjoyable indeed … the young man working the weekend on reception was extremely helpful, spoke excellent english and helped us to phone ahead to our next destination, to reserve a room where they only spoke Korean. So we only have good things to say about this hotel…

The hotel is newly renovated and the rooms are very clean. Large TV and a computer in each room. The staff is very helpful. The location is ok, about 10 minutes walking distance from the subway station and the beach. On the negative side, is pretty complicated to figure out the how to use the air conditioning and the heating settings, so better ask for details at the reception

Given that the hotel has been recently renovated, everything is new and it feels more like a 4* hotel. The room was awesome. The bed was great for me but a little hard for my husband. The bathroom was OK... I have to say, it was clean for Korean standards (which are medium-high), but I still showered with flip flops (let me put it this way... in the shower, I found some fake eye lashes from the (I assume lady) who previously stayed in our room... overall, it was clean for a hotel (but don't expect spotless as you would at your own home!)
it is really 10 minutes walking distance from the beginning of Gwangnan Beach. We did not want to pay the 12,000 won per person for the breakfast, so we walked about 3 minutes every morning to the Paris Baguette near the hotel and had a hearty (yet sweet) breakfast every day for around 7,000 won (for 2 people).

I did not try the bathtub as I really am a bit OCD on cleanliness... but it really looked awesome!
