Our room was every inch spick and span, including the bathroom cum toilet. It was definitely value for money given its location which was walking distance to all the lovely places on and around Hayundae Beach, such as the traditional market, the beach, the aquarium, the APEC building. Slept like a log the whole time that I was there. Lovely communal kitchen on the 4th floor which opens onto the rooftop patio. Place to interact and relax.

Indy House is definitely the best you're going to do for a
beach-area lodging without going into the six-figure won price
range. (Hundreds of dollars/euros.) While not actually on the
beach, it's a short walk away from Gwangalli subway station, from
which Gwangalli beach itself is a straight shot past several
blocks. Hard to get lost, and an easily walkable distance.
Along the beach are good chain pub/restaurants like Thursday

Party, as well as coffee houses and errant firework vendors. It
also rarely costs more than about 10,000 won to taxi to and from
the area to nearby beaches like Haeundae. It's a bit far from
Busan station, but the subway is easy enough to navigate. Its
location is about the most convenient you're going to find,
especially in the budget price range.

The couple than runs this place is very nice. They are very
accommodating; once they accidentally overbooked the dorms, so
they let me and another guest have the unoccupied private room
for the same price as a dorm. Having stayed here most of the
times I made the trip to Busan, I've never had a bad experience.
Dorms are small but not crowded, there's a nice living room and
they take good care of the place. Highly recommended.

Nice hostel. Stayed there for two nights with a friend over the low season. Got a huge room with a private bathroom. Good location, and easy to find. It was great value for money. Helpful and friendly staff.

Backpacking throughout Korea for a month, I've had my share of experiences at hostels. But none can top my stay at Indy House. With lower rates than those of nearby hostels (such as Pobi, Miss Egg or Popcorn), it offers way more in terms of general accommodation and customer service. The rooms are very clean and adequately spacious with great AC (an absolute necessity for the humid days in Busan). Internet connection is very stable and strong. There is also free laundry service, as well as discounted tickets for various attractions.
What impressed me the most, however, was the courteousness and friendliness of the staff. The receptionists were always eager to assist me in booking flights and buses to other regions.
All hostels, no matter where in the world, should strive to run their business as Indy House does.

The rooms and service are still impeccable, reiterating the previous reviews. Cheap, clean and friendly, the staff are helpful and accommodating. The rooms can be a tight fit, depending on which room you get, but to be honest it wasn't an issue. It's close to the beach, bars and bus-stop. Definitely worth trying out

Close to Haeundae beach Indy House is a very modern, clean and friendly hostel.
Easily found using the map provided on booking and close to the beach, restaurants, bars etc. Just round the corner is also a bus stop to take you to the centre of the city or to Taejongdae or Haedong Yonggungsa temple.
When I was staying here it was off season and the hostel was pretty empty, but the common area was well stocked with books and a large kitchen as well. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the bathroom etc was very clean. My dorm was next to the disco as someone else mentioned, so the music was audiable at night, but it didnt disturb me. I will stay here again if I return to Busan

We stayed here at the end if april and had a fantastic stay. The accomodation is very easy to find with the instructions provided from Haeundae station and is a 5min walk from the beach the main strip of restuarants/bars and clubs. The room accomodated 4 of us with bunk beds and clean bed sheets were provided for you to make your own beds. The bathroom again was very clean and fresh towels were available.
The communal area on the 4th floor was fantastic and it felt like home with an open living space and fully functional kitchen.
We enjoyed our stay here very much and will stay here again when returning to Busan.
