I found this multi storey apartment complex close to Busan's towering and expensive Lotte Hotel whose available rooms were at a minimum extremely high cost of KRW500,000 a night. No thanks, Mr Lotte.
The City Vill apartment complex has a large sign on it advertising condos at hotel prices and is painted a soft pink so it's hard to miss.
A friendly male approached me and offered a room for KRW70,000, which I considered reasonable. The equally friendly female (a lady of perhaps 55) lives in an 11th floor unit.
My unit was on the 10th floor. It had a reception area with a washing machine that worked efficiently and a few pots and pans stored in the adjacent kitchen, a large bedroonm with a comfy Queen bed and a work desk. There was also a refrigerator while the toilet was in a separate room as was the bathroom (in a further, separate room).
The apartments are next to the rail line connecting Busan to the secondary Bujeon railway station but after 2100 there din't seem to be any trains. Nor was there any road traffic noise, but there were some colorful night views of a typical (upmarket) Asian lights display on buildings.
The aircon also worked as it should.
A good value stay in South Korea's second largest city.
