Okay, I'm in a generous mood, I'd give in 3.5 if Tripadvisor would let me because it's not quite a 4. The property is a bit old fashioned. The lobby area with floor to ceiling white marble felt cold and uninviting. It's old and tired in places and the rooms are overdue for a spruce up. But it was clean, tidy and comforable and all of the amenities were there. The rooms were a good size and bed was very comfortable.

Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. The other eating options were not so great with limited choice and variable quality. There is a "Men's Spa" and a small gym which is part of the Men's Spa area (so no workout options for the ladies...sorry). The only problem with this was that you had to share this small workout area with guys wandering in from the spa dressed only in their shorts and most of them were overfed middle aged businessmen (not attractive). I guess I should be thankful that a nude workout wasn't on their agenda.

So....it could definitely be improved in some areas. But the staff were on the ball and helpful and the rooms were comfortable, if not exactly stylish. I wouldn't be too upset if I had to stay there again.

I could not get a seat on a flight out of Busan, so needed a place close to the airport and flew out early the next morning.
The hotel is on a busy commericial street, so there are lots of places to eat and shopping, but the noise level is high, but outside noise was not more than most downtown hotels. There was a club on the first floor, but I was on the 15th floor so I couldn't hear it.
Also the rooms were not well sound insulated, so I could hear 'hall noise' from under the door, and gained some unpleasant insight into the bathroom habits of the guest next door!
The room was nice, bathroom clean, and the beds quite firm. The front desk was helpful with electrical adapters for my cell phone and friendly at checkin and checkout.
Overall, I would stay here for an early flight out in the future.

Room Tip: higher floor for less noise

The hotel was convenient for my work, but I would not stay here again. There is a club in the building that plays loud music until the morning hours that can be heard even on the upper floors. The breakfast buffet did not have a good selection, expecially for a vegetarian. As a female business traveller, the environment did not make me feel particularly safe.

Good rooms, but a little expensive for the quality. Quite clean, especially the bathroom. Highly recommended for traveling out of Gimhae Airport in Busan.

Forget it if you plan to spend a few nights in Busan. Rooms need updating, TV sets come from the 20th century and above all, staff is not friendly at all. Don't expect a smile or even 'good morning' when you go down to the restaurant for breakfast. Prices are high, quality is low, some 2* hotels are bettr than this one. Also, it is far from haeundae beach and jagalchi market and the area around the hotel is only packed with Love hotels and noisy drunk local 'businessmen' at night.
Advantage: It's the nearest hotel from the airport.

The hotel was very generous storing our many suitcases and valuables while we took a trip to China. It was a great service. Unfortunately the hotel itself was really not very good. Quite expensive but the rooms were unpleasant. Ours smelled of smoke and even had ashtrays and matches in it although it was a non-smoking room. The bathroom definitely needed updating. The airport at Busan has no hotel so you have to travel a little distance to find one. This was the nearest one we could find but we are sorry to say that we would not recommend it at all for the quality of the stay. The location was fine, there were grocery stores nearby and also restaurants. I think for the price you charged us you should update and modernise your rooms and make sure no one smokes in non-smoking rooms. We really appreciated your luggage service though. It was great.

Yes about 15 minutes from the (PUS) airport. New rail system outside of the hotel that has a airport stop but not open to May 2011 (hopefully). Very quite hotel and had no issues at all. Breakfast is the normal western fare for asia. Most staff I found speak english and have a fair selection of tv broadcast in english. E-mart across the street and to the left (10 min walk) with food court on second floor. Hotel does have a shuttle with prior (advance) (not on-demand) hotel arrangements and is not gratis. Excellent choice for and business work near the airport. Does have sauna and gym at a reduced cost (in hotel but what I could see is not part of hotel). No Wifi in rooms but was told the lobby has wifi. Website: WWW.hotelparagon.com and e-mail: webmaster@hotelparagon.com
