“Huge & Comfortable Room”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 June 2014

The most expensive but most comfortable room we had for our Korea holiday trip this June. Pity it was just for one night. We booked a deluxe twin room with ocean view. It has a bedroom and separate sitting room with TVs in both rooms.

The hotel staff are polite and could communicate in English. The hotel is located within walking distance to Jungang underground shopping arcade and Dongmun Market. These were the only two places we went upon reaching Jeju-si in the late afternoon.

The only complaint I have is regarding the bathroom. The whole floor will be wet as the shower area is not built a step lower than the rest of the area. Furthermore, a floor mat was not provided.

Despite that, it was still a very pleasant stay.

We just stayed there for one night on our way to Seogwipo. I am glad we based ourselves in the south of the island, Jeju town doesn’t have the same feel, however this hotel was perfect for a night. Huge room, with a tatami room and a normal room so that the children could have their own room and all this at a reasonable cost. Parking is offered at the hotel and the bed very comfortable. Just one strange thing: in April the aircon is not available at the hotel…. Best not to go during a very warm spring!

We stayed there for three nights from 17 Jun to 19 Jun through our package tour. We were very lucky to get a room facing the sea and the room is very spacious for two persons. There was free wi-fi inside the room and the beds were very comfortable.

The only thing which we disliked most was the bathroom, the drainage was quite poor and the water took a few minutes to get heated up. The toilet floor was always wet due to the design of the drainage and the floor got flooded when the drainage did not drain the water fast enough.

The breakfast is buffet style on the second floor and the spread of food is good, the seaweed abalone porriage was really tasty and staff was quick to refill the pot when it run out even though it was very near to their closing time for breakfast.

We will definitely stay there again should we visit Jeju again in the future.

We stayed 3 nights suite room in mid of May, comfortable bed and pillows, nice view and we enjoyed the walks on the path just outside the hotel every night. Only problem was a front desk staff were not quite willing to answer our tourism enquiry.

We booked a package tour and stayed here for 2 nights in a room with a good view of the Ocean.
The room is clean and the free wi-fi coverage is good. The only problem is that the TV programmes are all in Korean.
e-mart is just behind the hotel. We could get most of the things in budgeted price there.
Overall we enjoyed the stay at this hotel.

We stayed here for one night in late May 2014 and paid about USD 153 including taxes but excluding breakfast, which we didn't try. WiFi is free throughout the hotel and worked reasonably fast. The room was clean and large, a 2-room suite, with a small bathroom and nice ocean view. The only problem was that the air conditioning didn't cool the room sufficiently and we had to keep the windows open. It's right in the capital, Jeju-si, which doesn't have a lot of sights but is convenient for shopping (a huge E-mart discount and grocery store is right behind the hotel) and restaurants (a long string of clean, modern restaurants, mostly Korean, is behind the E-mart). At a slightly longer distance from the hotel is Sashimi Street, by the ocean and consisting of restaurants featuring live fish tanks. McDonald's is also an easy walk for those who are tired of Korean food, and the interesting fish market is not too far away for adventurous walkers. Check-in and check-out were reasonably fast. The television didn't have many English-language channels and only Arirang for news. The fitness center is simply a few machines in the hallway on the top floor. Overall, the experience was pleasant but not particularly inspiring; if we returned to Jeju we'd probably stay in a more lively area, such as the neighborhood around the Outback Steak House.

Room Tip: Ocean views are definitely an advantage.

Problems of our rooms or toilet choking were resolved fast. Location is a stones throw from good restaurants.Front desk staff were polite & ever friendly to help us arrange transportation or enquiries.
Good shower head with high water pressure helped relieve fatigue and quicken bath time.

The only issue was that the bathroom counter space to place toiletries were much smaller.

We obtained a Jeju map from the front desk which was a great help.
