I really enjoyed my stay at Africa Guesthouse. If you're up for a unique experience then it's great! However, I would not recommend it to people who are looking for a more typical hostel experience. Africa Guesthouse isn't near the city centre. My friends and I took a cab from Jeju City. It wasn't expensive but it's definitely a bit further away from the city. The location is more remote. It has a really nice view and it's located in a traditional Korean neighbourhood. It was really interesting to walk around. There were four of us. We were the only foreigners there but everyone was really friendly. The owner is extremely nice and accommodating. Originally we were to sleep on the floor in the dormitory area but he ended up making some arrangements with some of the other guests and he provided us with a private room with bunk beds. We were also invited to be included in the meals being cooked. The facilities were clean. The guesthouse isn't too far from a beach as well as restaurants. We were able to walk there in 20ish minutes. The owner will also make arrangements for a cab to pick you up from the guesthouse. I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a more Korean experience rather than the usual foreigner experience in a hostel.
