“It’s like a boutique hotel on a budget.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 March 2014

What a cute guesthouse! It’s like a boutique hotel on a budget. It was a short and cheap cab ride from the airport, and in a great location (bus stops are just outside or close by) with shops and places to eat all around. There is a comfy common area with games and books, a computer area, wifi in rooms, and even free long distance phone calls!

They have a kitchen area where you can cook your own breakfast with free eggs and toast. The place is like a family so you have to do your own dishes, just like home! ;) It was nice to relax with free drinks at happy hour after a long day of seeing the sights.

I had a single room and while small (with a big bathroom) it was clean and comfortable. I really don't have much to say about the room because I just used it for sleeping. There was too much to do and see on Jeju!

The staff was so friendly and spoke English well. Julie was at the front desk and was super helpful and so nice! She knew all of the things to do and see in Jeju and would help you to get there too. She really seemed to care about your holiday and not just treat you like a guest, but like a friend. Becky worked nighttime and she was super nice and friendly too! She always had a bright smile on her face even though the hour may have been late.

Some people like the guest houses by the bar district but I worried about the noise so I think City Hall is a great location. I would definitely stay again and recommend it to everyone! Well, the cool people anyway. *^^*

Room Tip: It’s on the sixth floor and there are no sign on street level, so look up for the sign.

I was travelling with my sister and friends, 4 of us staying in a dorm. Since it's a 4 bed dorm, so it's a private room for us, with bathroom en-suite.
Their service started before I checking into their place. I'm having trouble with my flight to Jeju, and I get them to call the airlines to check the solution, and they manage to help me.
The room, bathroom are clean. There are kitchen for us to cook simple meal for breakfast and dinner. The staff is friendly and I don't really have more to say about them since I only see them a few times during my stay.
And lastly, they sells Jeju's chocolate and cookies at a cheaper price. At least 2,000KRW to 3,000 KRW cheaper compared to the outside price, so grab it.
That's all I guess, I don't have any complaint about this place, it suit me well.

Absolutely loved it! No wonder it is rated No. 1 on TripAdvisor! You got to trust the ratings on Tripadvisor!! It has everything I need for a comfy and cozy stay in Jeju!! The staff are very friendly and helpful!!! I love interacting with them. The room was very hotel-like! Attached and big bathroom is best! Room is very clean! Has window! TV and heater included... Wifi was also good. Breakfast is fantastic with the kitchen with everything you can find for breakfast. The lounge decor was very very cozy.. YOU GOT TO TRY THIS HOSTEL!

Room Tip: Any room is good! But try to choose rooms on same floor as reception as it save you time from going...

First the staff were friendly, pleasant and eager to help, Julie especially made me feel instantly at home! She is passionate about the job and genuinely helps the guests. I came super early and just wanted to leave my luggage for safekeeping before checking in later and she was concerned that I might not have taken breakfast so she asked me to stay for breakfast. So sweet of her...
Secondly, it was clean and neat and everything you need in the hostel is there. Breakfast which is inclusive in room price comes with bread, cheese, eggs and coffee and tea. Even though i was staying in the 6 bed dorm, i never have to wait to use the bathroom which is conveniently located in the room itself. Charging adaptors are provided and hair dryer as well. When i went hiking at Hallasan, the staff (did not catch her name) even asked if i needed "gator"spikes and it was rented at 5000won, fully refundable upon return. Best part was the free drink provided from 730 to 930pm at the dining area which enables the guests to mingle and interact or just watch tv. Laundry is free and only the dryer costs 3000won which is great!
Location was great as it is located close to bus stops with buses going to the attractions and to the airport. I was able to catch a cab at 630am to go Hallasan as well. There are lots of eating places nearby. Just walk around the back alleys...it is not dangerous as there are many eating places especially if you enjoy korean barbeque meat!
Just book it. You will not regret!

It is clean, has a lift, washing machine ( they do charge for dryer though) and an activity area. The staff is also very polite and helpful. They do speak english so it is much of help to us. Stayed in the two beds room and the room is clean and comfortable and there are slippers provided to walk around with.

You can cook morning breakfast, they supply eggs, bread and juice. Very generous on drinks as well. Guests are allowed a free drink at happy hour time to drink in the common area so that we can mingle around.

Food is within walking distance as well so no issue on getting food. Would definitely recommend the place.

The 6 bed dorm is by far the most spacious that we have stayed. Our family found the room warm & cozy. the attached bathroom is big. we were there during winter and the heated mattress was heavenly. Free drinks every day during happy hour from 7-9pm. The printout on restaurants nearby helped us locate the halal restaurant nearby. highly recommended for muslim travellers as they have utensils for muslim's use. will definitely stay there again if we go jeju.

I've stayed here twice and would happily go back. I've stayed in both the men's dorm and a single bunk bed room. Although dormers have to share a small bathroom, there are extra toilets available in an emergency. If anything, the dorm was too warm. The single room was about right. Yeha feels like a Western hostel, with common areas and eggs and cheese on toast available for breakfast. The staff speak good English and are super polite and helpful.

Room Tip: If you want a good sleep, choose a private room.
