It was definitely worthwhile making a quick stop to enter this tomb to see the inside and learn more about its construction. It's very interesting.

This is well worth the visit. The tombs are impressive and the historic village is nice
“Food street” is next to the place so easy to find a nice meal.
The park is also nice next to the site to walk and enjoy the locals going out and having fun.

There are several similar graves in Gyeongju, a few of them accessible. A royal grave with relics. Much more you can see in both National Museum in Seoul and Gyeongju.

Very interesting! A high point of our visit to Geongju. An easy walk from the town center. Not crowded.

Cheonmachong Tomb is located within Daereungwon Tomb Complex, in a beautiful park.
It consists of a wooden coffin placed inside an underground chamber mounded with boulders and earth (a typical tomb of the Silla period).
Surrounding the park, there is an area full of nice places to eat, take coffees or rest.
My favourite place in Gyeongju.
