Stay there for 3 nights this past Jan. 2013 and I must say, the people at this Motel was by far the best people I met in Korea while my wife and I been traveling all over Korea for a month.

Here is how it went. It was very hard and long 3 days in Busan and what topped it off was on the day we were headed to Gyeongju it started raining. To make long story short, when we got to Gyeongju, to our surprise the owners were waiting for us at the train station to take us to the motel in their nice car. Once we got there, they had everything ready and took us straight to our room which was the nicest and cleanest that I've seen in Korea aside from the 5 star Hotels. The own of the motel handed us a menu and asked us what we wanted for breakfast and what time the should bring it to the room. The next morning the breakfast was served on time and we went out site seeing with a smile on our face.

For this motel, if i could give them a 6 star I would.

Room Tip: Think all rooms are good. I would ask for the highest floor for the view.

When I booked this accommodation, I didn't expect it to be a love hotel but that's exactly what it is. The tell tale sign is the moment I got to the lobby. Instead of a grand lobby area, there's only a little hole on the hole where hotel guests' privacy is assured and that money could be handled without much fuss. The interior of the hotel is more like a night club, with black glossy wall, dim LED lights or in English term, mood light. The moment check-in is done, I could simply "waltz" to my room without a key or card as everything here is computerised. The room key is already placed in the room for absolute privacy and discretion. Outside the hotel room, there's a REALLY visible DO NOT DISTURB sign in Korean, to tell guests to be aware that there may be some kinky business happening:) The room is such a revelation, it's absolutely GRAND with a desktop with a MASSIVE LCD screen (no sound, though), another HUGE LCD panel to most possibly watch soft erotic movies to get hotel guests into the mood, toiletries of all sorts (and in GRAND proportion too), different configurations of mood lights (at one stage, I thought I was in the cockpit of Star Trek Enterprise~pun intended), a GIGANTIC spa bath, a couch, a fridge, a UV steriliser for the utensils, a fan, a dehumidifier. There's gigantic mural on the wall & it's of the arty kind until you read to the bit that said, "2 friends kept step beside me, 2 honest friends and hale, now [--] lies long in the churchyard"! That truly confirmed my suspicion that this is actually a love hotel. Furthermore, it seems that most of the hotels around this area is of the same genre. For me, this is truly one of the highlights of being at Gyeongju apart from visiting other UNESCO Heritage sites. This is truly an experience worth savouring, even just for the fun of it. The stay here has been immensely enjoyable with breakfast being provided & that the hotel operator has been kind to our needs despite our language deficiency in Korean. The irony is that the sound insulation at Love Hotel is actually better than conventional hotels that I have stayed in thus far:) Commendable stay, indeed.

This hotel is only three blocks north of the Gyeongju bus terminals and run by a really friendly staff (family?) who tries really hard to accommodate their guests' needs (limited English so bring your phrase book). My room was clean and well stocked, fancy whirlpool bath and many toiletries. A nice fresh breakfast was delivered with a smile to my room every morning, small fridge was stocked with free water and juice, free computer and good wireless. There is also covered parking for guests. The dark strangely decorated lobby with its strong fake sugar smell was a bit off-putting, but everything else was fine. A great plus is that the owners will shuttle you to the city train station, and also to the KTX high speed station- which is 20 min outside of Gyoengju.

Room Tip: Ask for an upper floor and you'll avoid the street noise and be treated to a nice view of the mo...

The hotel is less then 2 min walk from the bus stations and maybe 15 min walk from the train station which makes it prefect for travels.

The rooms where very nice and very clean and overall we were very happy.

The only downside about this hotel is check in. Since it's a love motel it's set up so people can have a lot of privacy, which gives it a shady feeling. That being said, I've lived in Korea for over a year now and have stay in many hotel rooms. The love hotel rooms have been some of the nicest ones, as all as you don't mind a dark lobby.
