Calm hotel, so I often stay. I want to calm and peaceful rest, so this hotel is best one that I reservated hotel in south korea. Hard to get to hotel from airport, but I don't care. Mobile phone set in a room, I didn't take a my own's since last visit. It's very useful.
advantages : - This hotel is new clean and comfortable
- Wifi internet is free in every guest room
- All staffs are very kind, helpful and polite.
- free shuttle bus from-to airport < it takes 30 minutes from the airport>
- free shuttle bus to dream city or restaurant area near the hotel < around 5 minutes>
- train station just in front of the hotel,
15 minutes to e-mart supermarket,
20 minutes to shinsegae luxury shopping mall ,
30 minutes to bupyeong underground shopping center and
1.30 hrs to myeongdong. and
the train ticket price is very cheap just 1000 won - 2000 won
disadvantages : - in winter, the hotel turns off all air conditioning in the guestrooms,
I called the operator and she suggested me to open the window !!!
- no swimming pool but very poor small gym
- no any shop or building beside the hotel.... there is just a mini mart in the first floor.
- some rooms have a bathtub and somes have a shower
Hotel in a totally isolated part of Incheon, but facing a subway station.
Decent bathroom, furniture blocking the desk, lighting system difficult to control, plugs without continuous power, if corresponding lamps are switched off, lousy Internet, breakfast correct, TV without CNN, BBC, TV5, DW, just international news from China
Pros: The rooms were clean and well appointed.
Cons: The food, the location, the ubiquitous smell of cigarette smoke and the overall atmosphere of this place.
If you have nowhere else to stay then the modern rooms and large bathtubs in this hotel will provide an adequate place to spend the night. However, I would avoid it if at all possible.
This hotel is literally surrounded on all sides by a 15 minute walk through vacant lots to anything other than the subway. Located in the middle of a massive, stalled "new city economic zone" construction site, the Songdo Bridge Hotel has all the charm and personality of a shooting location for a zombie film and the air quality of Beijing.
The food here is wildly over-priced and tastes like something reheated in a microwave oven, especially the buffet - do not eat at the buffet! I was awakened several times during the night by not only indigestion but also the overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke which seemed to be coming from the ventilation system. It made for a very poor nights sleep indeed.
Lastly, I have tried to find a better word than "weird" to describe the overall atmosphere of this hotel, but it is unfortunately appropriate. From the brusque staff and odd decor, to the random assortment of guests and eerie location, this hotel made me uncomfortable at best. From the moment I got there I couldn't wait to leave.
For the amount of money they charge you can get a far, far superior hotel experience in Korea.
We were on Korean airines stopover... the room was very good but when we went down to the buffet style restaurant many of the dishes that had been out for some time had gone cold. I had chosen the fried rice and chicken options and found they were cold when i returned to my table.
