This was our first visit to Korea and TGG was the first stop. We had a very nice time. The owner
Sylvia recommended nice restaurants (and how to get there), arranged a superb taxi-driver for nice day out on the island. Breakfast is very nice and the kitchen cosy.
Room and bathroom were convenient.

This is my second time of staying this hotel. The service of this guesthouse never fail my expectation. It was totally great during my stay I would like to specially thanks to Sylvia and the night shift staff! It is very convenient by taking #600 bus to get it TGG. Upon your arrival at Jeju airport exit Gate 5. The #600 bus will be on your right. Each stop is announced in English. You can see Tae Gong Gak Inn and Guesthouse's sign diagonally across the street from the bus stop. There are nice breakfast provide by TGG. Sylvia is a great advisor to guide you by different seasons of attraction in English. Thumb up for this guest house!

Recommended by a friend and we stayed here for 3N. It's at a convenient location, take airport bus 600 and drop about 300m across the street. Was raining when we reach, but Arnold who attended to us was really nice by helping us with our luggages in the rain and subsequently also directed us to a restaurant for dinner.

The rooms were much better than what we expected. They are spacious in general and very clean. The kitchen is where breakfast is served, with bread, cereal, cup noodles, yogurt, fruits, juices, eggs, water, milk etc. No worries if you get hungry in the middle of the night since the kitchen is always open.

The host Sylvia is friendly and helpful. She helped with our daily itinerary and speaks good English so there's no problem in communication. Also took some photos for us and sent it over after we checked out. Grateful for the laundry service as well.

Really enjoyed our stay here, will definitely recommend to everyone also will also stay here if we visit again!

We couldn't be happier with our choice of accom...I can easily say that both Peter and Sylvia are the best hosts we've ever encountered.

It was easy to get to the TGG based on direction provided. Peter greeted us with Jeju's map and a list of places to eat, which we find really helpful. After resting from a long haul flight, we went out for dinner on of the recommended restaurant nearby. We had a great traditional Korean meal. Upon our return, Peter gave me extra bottled water and 2 packs of soluble VitC. He was so observant and caring that he noticed my cough!!!

The hosts went out of their way to make our trip more enjoyable and relaxing. They gave both audio and visual directions to eateries, to the nearby port and Cheonjiyeon waterfall. Sylvia even walked us to the dinner place on our second night and explained the menu.

Breakfast is self service with the eggs, fruits, cereals etc, which is a perfect healthy and light start as there were heaps to eat for the rest of the day. We were also so grateful with the laundry service offered by TGG.

It was unnecessary to plan itinerary when staying at TGG. Sylvia got that covered although she'll always say we'll discuss and we'll need to decide. So some prelim idea re Jeju would be handy :) It was a great idea to book taxi driver for the 3 days in advance we were at Jeju upon Sylvia's recommendation. It would have been too tiring to drive to all the attractions, stressing re navigation and enjoy at the same time for similar price. Mr Koh is a great driver, tour guide, photographer and curious hiker who will trek with you. He's got a fair command of English and we learnt that he's also learning Mandarin.

All in all, we had a very wonderful trip to Jeju which is highly attributable to Peter and Sylvia's hospitality. We wish to return and be able to hike Mt Hallasan in our next visit.

P/S thx Sylvia for the shopping recommendation in Seoul. We managed to buy heaps there with wonderful shopping experiences amongst the locals ;) And thanks for sending us our photos!!!

We stayed at TGG for four nights. The service of this guesthouse was great, especially the owner of the guesthouse. They were very thoughtful and helpful, assisting us whenever we needed help in getting around Jeju Island. Moreover, the breakfast provided was very satisfying! The rooms are comfortable and clean, coupled with a floor heater which makes the room more comfy. However, it would be much better if there was a table of some sort, provided in the toilet to place personal toiletries. In all, TGG is an awesome place to stay in and I highly recommend this guesthouse!

It was our first time in Korea and we went there with only a rough idea on where to go. Sylvia helped us throughout our whole trip and went even further to ensure we are well taken care of by giving us raincoats and umbrellas. Her friendly attitude has made our honeymoon an enjoyable one.
