“Relaxing Hotel”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 August 2014

This is a well run hotel with a good swimming pool, large comfortable rooms and good views. Initially it may seem a bit out of the way but on reflection the location was perfect. You can get an airport limousine bus service to the world cup stadium and it is only five minutes in a taxi from here. The number five bus service is less than a ten minutes walk and goes to Seogwipo in one direction or Jungmun post office in the other direction (although reception told me I would have to walk all the way to the world cup stadium to get a bus). Although taxis are also cheap and you should cost you no more than 7,000KW to Segowipo or 12,000 to Jungmun resort.
There are great views from the rooms over the swimming pool and out to sea. The rocky shoreline and the offshore island add to the attractiveness of the area. However, it is possible to swim in the sea near here, walk along the sea front towards for a few minutes towards Segowipo and you will come to an abandoned swimming pool made of concrete. However, if you follow the path around this you will come to a small set of concrete steps into the sea where a natural sea pool has been created. This protects you from the waves when swimming and some fish come into the area so it is pleasant to snorkel. The sea front is part of the Olle trial and you can go for some pleasant walks along the coast.
The food in the hotel is good (Korean and Western) and reasonable priced. They will bring drinks and burgers / sandwiches / salads to the poolside during the day. There is one children's pool and one deeper adult pool and a hot Jacuzzi. Everything is kept very clean and the pool is very well maintained (I say this as an ex-lifeguard).
However, it was frustrating to have to choose between set menus for breakfast. I would recommend the sea urchin soup combination but in truth I would have preferred to have eaten the Korean fish and the western eggs together rather than choose between them.
If there could be information about public transport available and more choice at breakfast then this could be my ideal htel.

The design of the hotel is contemporary and elegantly sober. There is a great view on the sea. The staff is very helpful. The hotel has a good restaurant. The rooms are quite large, with an espresso machine. So it's really perfect.

We stayed in this hotel for a long weekend... Hotel is not easy to find by taxi from Jeju Airport, but note a phonenumber to be able to call reception when lost. Besides that, once you arrived, you feel the rest and escape... Nice view. Rooms are modern and new... We wanted to change from double bed to twin's and it wasn't problem at all... Your request was their command... WiFi wasn't working ideal, but it was doable... If I had to change something, it would be better noiseisolation of the rooms... You could hear quite a lot. When want to go around, taxi or car needed... Breakfast wasn't that great, but lunchmenu was decent... I would like to thank especialy to the staff, who is very professional and made our trip a perfect getaway!

Recommended for couples & people who would like to escape from city. Nice scenery with sea view and swimming pool. The food at their cafe also good. we're travelling as couples for 4 days here. This hotel has modern design inside. They have books & internet corner at lower floor with self making coffee section. This hotel far from busy street. by walking 10-15 minute you will find convenience store, G-25 and near to World Cup Stadium. However, you required to take a taxi to go around. Just request to receptionist and they will get taxi for you. They can speak English very well and helpful. My room got nice balcony where facing the sea. they got all completed hair dryer, safety box, toiletries, coffee maker, mini bars, bath tub & toilet with bidet and dryer. Overall, we totally enjoy our honeymoon here and having a great time.

Room Tip: rooms with sea view

This hotel is a nice place to stay if you want to spend time in a comfortable room far from busy streets and face to face with nature and the sea. It is better reached by taxi, because is not close to the city. But the taxi to the city costs you around 5-6usd and takes 7-10 minutes. One problem, which is typical for the whole South Korea - almost nobody speaks English )) Be ready to explain the destination using your fingures, face, the map, etc. But you get to used to it pretty quickly once you are in South Korea :P

Room Tip: nice place for honeymoon :)
