My husband and I had a fantastic stay from 29 June to 5 July 2014. We had a spacious room overlooking the pool area. Rooms are neatly serviced with turn-downs and towel change once again. Rooms are very comfortable but are a little dated. Could do with with upgrades in decor, and flat screen TV. We enjoyed the poolside activity from the balcony, was not too noisy.(However if you looking for a more quieter one request for one that is golf course facing.) Staff are cordial and helpful.Beautiful views of the mountains from the balcony and any where on the resort. the hotel has two restaurants, Planters - Al a carte and Terrance - buffet. Poolside menu is available till 9pm. A good variety on the menus. The camelot spa at the hotel offers excellent treatment packages by friendly competant staff. There is also a gym, heated pool, steam room available at the spa, use is included in packages. Or can be used at a norminal charge. hotel also has tennis, squash, volleyball and bowls courts. The resort has a world class golf course and country club. Live music on Fridays and Saturdays. Guests also have a choice of dining at the Lugogo Sun. Cocktails are quite overpriced including milkshakes!!! Lots of things to do in surrounding areas. For us it was a holiday that was rejuvenating, funfilled as well as relaxing.

Room Tip: If you have children good idea to choose ground floor rooms facing the pool. having a balcony makes...

Swaziland is a peaceful beautiful mountainous Kingdom land locked by South Africa. I am always pleasantly surprised at the Tranquility and the friendly attitude of the the Hotel and its staff.

The rooms are top notch, huge and clean.
The Pool area where we have breakfast too is always well maintained and the most beautiful setting to enjoy the scrumptious spread!
Breakfasts and Dinners in the main restaurant is usually Buffet and is well worth the money you pay. There is also a small a la carte restaurant available.

For those with Children the Kamp Kwena Kiddies Club will keep them occupied for most of your stay. During the main holiday season there is even a dedicated Childrens Entertainer.

I'll be back and so will you!

It was my second time this May 2014.The first time I came a year ago, the staff were friendly and approachable but then this time my expectations went one notch lower. We had a problem with the television and we called for help in the reception, we waited for someone to come but then no one did. The ATM is only one which is located inside the Casino area but usually out of cash, some of the staff were friendly, others were not. Parking is full especially during weekends; people come to Casino which is on the first floor, we had to park and walk a bit farther to the entrance. We enjoyed the live music in the bar which is a good idea especially for those who do not play in the casino. Food is great, there are a lot of choices in the buffet breakfast. Rooms were clean, ambiance from the lanai or window is perfect if you are a nature-lover and the golf course is well maintained. You can enjoy activities such as swimming, spa in the hotel; horseback riding, paintball, go-cart driving in Hoofbeat, you can call for a shuttle and they will bring you there just outside the hotel. Overall it is fine.

A recent one night stay in this hotel was pleasant, made even more so by the extreme friendliness of all staff. Old world courtesies abound. Other than breakfast (sumptuous - standard international hotel fare), I didn't eat there, so can't comment on meals.
The room was pleasant, well appointed, and everything worked, but slightly worn.
The hotel was convenient to both Mbabane and Manzini, just far enough from the highway to feel pleasantly remote, but really easy to get to both cities for meetings.

Room Tip: Ask for a non-smoking room if you are a non-smoker.

We encountered no specific problems but it just did not measure up to our experiences elsewhere in Souther Africa. This could be a great hotel. Instead, it is an acceptable hotel. If you want to stay in the area, it is okay but the highlight of your visit will not be the hotel. The common areas are nice including the pool area. Service was quite slow in both restaurants and at the pool area. It is annoying to have to wait to be seated for breakfast buffet when there are clearly many tables open. If this were a full-service breakfast restaurant, this would be understandable for staffing purposes but it is an uncrowded buffet. Dinner was good at the full service restaurant and okay at the buffet.

Although the hotel is very neat and clean, it really needs an upgrade. Entrance and reception areas look great, but the rooms are not 5 star. Wi-Fi, which you have to pay for, is basically non-existent during weekdays, but does improve over the weekend. Staff needs training. At times we found them quite rude, and not understanding what we were asking for. The breakfast buffet is adequate, but the quality has deteriorated since previous years. The hotel is located in a beautiful part of Swaziland, and although we did not play golf, the course looked in a very good condition. A bit of money will have to be spent on the hotel, and attention given to training, otherwise it will just deteriorate.

The Spa is very good, and the therapists well trained. We enjoyed the time spent at the spa, and can recommend it. The rates are reasonable.

Room Tip: A number of rooms have a view of the roof of the building, and as air conditioners are located on th...
