This former eye clinic has been transformed into an extremely popular ice cream parlour, gift shop and cafe. There is an enormous range of ice cream flavours (more than 50) divided into 'fruit', 'chocolate' and 'tea'. It is worth getting there early in the day as the queues can apparently get pretty long and stretch around the corner later in the day.
The gift shop behind is beautiful - fitted out to look like an antique book store, the packaged traditional cakes/biscuits and chocolates are sold in gorgeous packages. A great place to visit if you need to collect some presents to take home.
The ice cream and biscuits/cakes are expensive by local standards, though not compared to what you would pay for them in equivalent places overseas.
