I arrived at the hotel with them knowing that I had a separate booking with agoda.They mention that they will allocate the same room to us.
After checking in , the staff inform us about the wifi password as it was the same throughout the hotel. We went back to our room to use the wifi as we wanted to do some more research on taichung.
Apparently , the wifi password didn't work for my room. Thus we called down to enquiry about it.The reply I got was : The password is the same, so you should be able to connect to it .
I initially thought they did not understand my question , so we went down to ask instead.
And they told me different thing now : they said that it was their wifi connection routing issue recently. Oh , you cant tell me that earlier since you already knew that earlier?
Forget about the wifi . Now to their service.
Never once , I saw them smiling to us.
When I ask them for the attractions for taichung, the front office staff replied me the most atrocious answer I can get from a hotel staff : " I dont know"
Oh how wonderful is that .
We wanted to book a day tour for the next day with the taxi company.
So they arranged, but apparently , information wasnt convey properly.
I only realised when I got into the cab and started my conversation with the driver.
The hotel staff missed some of my destinations , but it was ok as we met a nice driver who brought us to good nice places in taichung.
When we are back from the hotel , we wasnt greeted but the china couple behind us were .
Am I too young to be greeted by these hotel staffs?
I mentioned earlier that I had a separate booking in agoda and the hotel knows that.
They deactivated my card and I could not unlock it.
How great .
Went down to clarify with this deactivation issue , they activated the card in front of me and offer to help me open my door. I felt ridiculous when they offer to me this. Its clear that I know the card was just activated again .
Room wise. Bathroom was clean and bed was nice.
But when you re enter your room after the absence of air ventilation , the room smells.
Water heater wasnt stable.
There were alot of a/c plugs in the room , but i could not understand how will a designer puts the a/c plugs behind a curtain.
A curtain just beside a bed not allowing to be drawn, then what is the point for the curtain?
I would not return for such service given. Be a new hotel or a new hotel staff, an I dont know answer could never be accepted.
