“Large Room Size, Great Service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 June 2014

The hotel has very large rooms. We stayed on the 4th floor for 3 nights and the room size seems like over 300 square feet. The room has basically everything necessary including a mini-fridge, a small safe, daily fresh fruits, WiFi/LAN, etc.. I especially liked the pod brewing coffee machine.

Breakfast is western buffet style with plenty of dishes to choose from including salad, congee, and omelette. On weekends, the breakfast has 3 time slots as late as 10:30am while on weekdays it lasts until 9ish.

The hotel is clean and the service is really good. The staff were very helpful to me in getting a cab, finding an onsen, booking a restaurant, etc.

The area around the hotel has a lot of restaurants. Within a 5 minute walking distance, you can find a grill house, steak house, chinese food, and I especially liked the vegetarian all-you-can-eat hotpot place.

There are 2 minor downsides to this hotel. It is not close to high-speed rail, train station, nor the airport. You basically have to take the taxi here at around $300~$400 TWD or learn how to take the bus.

The hotel itself is a bit old. It is connected to a commercial building which looks to be built in the 80s. However, the hotel has been renovated and is clean so it didn't bother me at all.

Overall, I highly recommend this place if you don't mind not being close to any sightseeing places. It is definitely a good location for you to eat out and the price of the hotel is quite cheap. This is my 2nd time staying here so it's good enough to lure me back.

Luxurious, spacious, bed is very large, clean, well-maintained, staffs are very polite, and cheap! Breakfast is good, delicious and variety of choices. Definitely will stay this hotel again if I got chance to come back here next time

The room was big and well occupied and very clean? It look like the maintainance is good. Check in was not perfect, as the lobby is used for the hotel and for the next offices building. Few of the elevators didn't work. It was heavily rained and they give you an ambrella on th exit. I have seen the breakfast, but it wasnt to attractive, so, I decided to skip it.. Over all, It was good return for the price that I paid.

Had a nice time staying there as we got a huge corner suite with separate jacuzzi, master bedroom and living area. Staff were nice and helpful with tips on planning our short stay for things to see. Had to wait about 15mins after our arrival for our room to be ready though. Taichung is small enough that the location didn't hinder our trip.

I love my room on the third floor.

This is great as the breakfast is on the 2nd floor.

Only feature I dislike is that my room has a thin wall to the next room. I can hear my neighbours talking in the evening.

I have encountered the earthquake on 27/03/13.
I would like to suggest that the hotel can make an annoucement to inform the tentants of what happening.

Room Tip: If you are a light sleeper, ask the receptionist for a room with better sound proof

I spent 2 nights in this hotel in May/2012. The location was good (to visit industrial factories near by) although it is not in city centre. The rooms (suite) in deed was big enough. Breakfast was delicious, Chinese and European style as well. If you are on business trip, this hotel can be a good choice.

Room Tip: Suite (with 2 rooms)

Had to visit a child doing a one year teaching assignment in this city. She had stayed here while getting settled in her job earlier in the year. Based on her location and recommendation, booked two rooms via the internet. Clean, spacious rooms, helpful staff, limited english, but very sincere service. Geared more for local Taiwan and Janpanes clientele. Great deal is free laundry service if booked for two nights or more. Location is away from the more crowded sections so less noise during the day. I laready planned to use cabs to get around, so this was not a factor. Easy for friends to drive over to visit and find a parking spot. Seemed very safe, comfortable. This was a stopover on my way to Taipei.
