The hotel has very large rooms. We stayed on the 4th floor for 3 nights and the room size seems like over 300 square feet. The room has basically everything necessary including a mini-fridge, a small safe, daily fresh fruits, WiFi/LAN, etc.. I especially liked the pod brewing coffee machine.
Breakfast is western buffet style with plenty of dishes to choose from including salad, congee, and omelette. On weekends, the breakfast has 3 time slots as late as 10:30am while on weekdays it lasts until 9ish.
The hotel is clean and the service is really good. The staff were very helpful to me in getting a cab, finding an onsen, booking a restaurant, etc.
The area around the hotel has a lot of restaurants. Within a 5 minute walking distance, you can find a grill house, steak house, chinese food, and I especially liked the vegetarian all-you-can-eat hotpot place.
There are 2 minor downsides to this hotel. It is not close to high-speed rail, train station, nor the airport. You basically have to take the taxi here at around $300~$400 TWD or learn how to take the bus.
The hotel itself is a bit old. It is connected to a commercial building which looks to be built in the 80s. However, the hotel has been renovated and is clean so it didn't bother me at all.
Overall, I highly recommend this place if you don't mind not being close to any sightseeing places. It is definitely a good location for you to eat out and the price of the hotel is quite cheap. This is my 2nd time staying here so it's good enough to lure me back.
