The staff are good and helpful, though I haven't seen hotel rooms that large before. The breakfast was fine but the other meals aren't worth the price. There was a window in one of the rooms facing Mt. Meru that appeared broken that made the place appear unsafe.

The manager and her crew are warm, helpful, and full of character. The rooms are large and a rather grubby. The manager of our meeting room was very polite and helpful. Service is inconsistent. The internet, when it worked, was either very good or rather slow.

The rooms are so large that they look a bit empty. This is not international class but close to it, but for that price, you can hardly expect more. The hotel is usually very empty except when it receives groups for workshops. The suites on top floor are simply huge, they can be negotiated at a good price.

Room Tip: Avoid rooms over the bar, too noisy

Precesion Air off loaded 23 people and put them in what they called a 5* hotel. In their dreams.
The vice president of Tanazaia was in residence on his floor so I assume that they must have been better than what we had.
The femail manager was very colourful and very good but she was very much in the wrong hotel. Our room was large., dated but clean. We had to ask for shampoo requirement. No aircon.
The down stair resturant was a street level with open plan. Breakfast you need an overcoat on as it was 11C outside.
Staff gave their best but that was not good enough.
Needs the management of Exploreans to run it.

I attended a conference at Arusha. My problems started at the Kilimanjaro airport as there was no pickup at the airport after this had been confirmed with the arrangements with the hotel management. There was no pager there from the hotel and I had to take a taxi to the hotel.Efforts to protest with the manager was fruitless as he was actually disputing that there was no pager there reading my name, and that in the end I chose a taxi as it was late at 23.15 hours.and the drive from airport to the hotel was 45 minutes. The attitude of the hotel manager was not befitting a hotel of this stature as the manager was too defensive rather than being objective.I simply gave up as I was registering a protest and not interested in a 50 dollar taxi refund.Rooms had seen better days and the lights in my room (402)went off twice inspite of maintenance personnel fixing. In the end my room was changed to room 204 after insisting on a room change.Room 204 bathroom door had loose hinges and it could not close properly. No wonder this hotel had a very low room occupancy. It was faboulously built but requires maintenance and upgrading yesterday. Food was good. All in all ,I dont think I will in future attend any conference at this hotel .

I recently (late April, 2013) attended a 3-day conference at Narua Springs.
The check-in was quick and efficient, the conference room entirely satisfactory, and the food, both buffet and from the menu, was very satisfactory in all respects.
The personnel support for our conference was full time every day all day, very helpful and problem solving, and when we went overtime into the evenings there was no grumbling or ill-humor at all - and one night we carried on until 8:15PM.
The large rooms are entirely comfortable and I have no complaints whatsoever.

Naura Springs is not a 5-7 Star hotel, so those who want 5-7 Star service - and its attendent prices - should look elsewhere. But for a conference that needs very reasonable facilities and excellent service at a very reasonable price for both conference and rooms - this hotel is a very good bargin and highly recommended.

I have the impression that issues mentioned by some of the prior commentaries have been addressed - and addressed well. There was always staff at the desk. Service was quick and efficient. Conference needs were met with alacrity. There was no inflation of billing or anything taken from our rooms.

So I think it needs to be acknowledged that previous shortcomings have been dealt with effectively, and my compliments to management for doing so.

I'll be back again for another meeting in June 2013, and happy to be there.

We stayed at the Naura Springs for one day due to a KLM flight cancellation. The staff at the hotel were excellent as was the food service and the lobby area. The rooms, however, could use some updating. The hotel rooms were very large but lacking in some areas typical of an international business class hotel. It was obvious that the hotel had been built to a high standard but is deteriorating due to inadequate maintenance. The television set was old with only a few channels which did not include any English language channels (I was hoping for BBC). There is a desk and chair, but no electrical outlet anywhere close for plugging in a laptop. There was hot water and strong water pressure but no toiletries provided. Overall, the infrastructure and staff of this hotel is world class, so with a few updates and increased services, it could rank as international business class hotel.
