Two of us (couple) stayed 3 nights in as part of an organised kili & safari tour with Argunga Safari in Dec 2011.
Running water and working bathroom
Relaxing restaurant with ok meals and reasonable prices
Restaurant staff were helpful and obliging, despite poor English communication
Mosquito nets over the beds
They held onto our luggage free of charge while we were on Kili or on safari.
Hot water ran out after five minutes
Some rooms face the mosque and are subjected to the direct impact of 5am 'call to prayers'
Windows did not lock and were easily slid open from the outside
Arriving back from 6days on Kili, we needed to do washing. The two staff members tried to charge $80USD for 6kg of washing which they quoted was 20kg but refused to weigh. Negotiations got the price as far down to $40USD - ridiculous! When we tried to complain to other staff members the next day, we were laughed and made fun of. We did not feel comfortable or respected.
