Hello! Me and my friend stayed at the Kiboko Lodge in March for 3 days and enjoyed it a lot. One night we were sitting at the fire place with a few people of the staff and the Maasai guards, playing the guitar and chatting. and the rest of the time we were relaxing in the tearoom with a lot of different kinds of birds around us, in the middle of nature.
Two things were very special about the place:
the staff members were all very friendly and open
And the whole place was arranged very nicely, with small streets leading to every room and a lot of different trees and flowers every where.

We were all in all very happy to have stayed at the Kiboko Lodge and would recommend it to everybody.
PS: and the beds were very soft

after our climb of the Kilimanjaro we recovered two days at the Kiboko lodge. The lodge is close to the peaceful Arusha national park and relatively close to Arusha itself. It proved to be a great place to stay. The staff was very kind (part of streetchildren project) and the setting great. never seen so many birds so close. The tastefully decorated room was clean and well maintained. The food was very good and the beer cold. A warm receommendation for anyone who needs to spend a few days close to Arusha but who does not want to stay in the busy city. spend one day at the arusha national park.

Room Tip: all rooms are the same, and part of cabins located in the garden. The ones close to the water are problably most scenic

Kiboko lodge is located in a very green environment and we really enjoyed our 3 nights. The beds in the relatively small room were very good and the bathroom simple but clean and tidy. Staff is very friendly and provide good service. We really enjoyed the breakfast in the magnificently located tearoom and the quality of the dinner plate service was very good. The guided walk through the nearby village and plantations is also highly recommended. In our case this was a great start of our Africa experience.

We were originally looking for a place to overnight in Arusha on our way to Nairobi and incidentally heard about the lodge. As they would not accept bookings for less than two nights, we decided to extend our stay in Northern Tanzania, and we did not regret it. The lodge is just very special, a very quiet retreat in a rural village set-up at the edge of the Arusha National Park. It is part of a social project benefitting streets children around Arusha, and all the staff are former street children who complete their vocational training (hospitality, mechanic, etc) while working in the lodge.
The little effort it takes to get there with the car is more than recompensed by the unique setting of the place, the extremely friendly and welcoming staff, the excellent food, the birdlife viewed in the mornings and evenings from one of the many lovely designed outdoor terraces, and not least the best beds we slept in for more than one month.
We did a wonderful guided day tour to the Arusha National Park. The two guides were very nice and helpful. Both, however, could still gain from being more self-confident and more proactive in talking and explaining about the park and its environs.
A wonderful stay and hopefully not our last visit. Many thanks to Frank, Joshuat, Javid and all the others.

We stayed here at the end of a very busy schedule of work, and it provided the best place to unwind and relax the brain. A beauitful setting, amazing birdlife and plenty of walks around the local area. The staff were super friendly and tried very hard to make our stay pleasant. It is a little off the beaten track but worth it. The only thing we didn't like was the bathrooms which were right in the bedroom, with only a half stone wall separating so no privacy. Super comfortable beds!
