This is definitely among the best hotels in the area. New and clean, it is very comfortable. The rooms and bathrooms are well appointed. The main problems with the hotel are the service and food. I also had a room where the air conditioner only worked intermittently, and they could not fix it and gave me a difficult time about moving rooms. The breakfast and lunch buffets were mediocre, at best. The food variety and preparation was nothing special, neither interesting nor very tasty. The meats were tough, fish did not seem fresh, and the vegetables of a very limited variety. Finally, the fitness center was small and cramped with cheap machines. It did not even have a treadmill.

As we turned into the complex from the bustling main road, we entered an oasis of calm. Once in the the sleek, modern lobby, we were greeted with a refreshing glass of fresh fruit juice. The front desk staff was friendly, helpful and efficient.

Though small, the hotel room was cozy and well appointed. As unique touch, the television in the room had a personalized welcome message.

Though I usually do not like buffets, both the dinner and breakfast buffets were excellent. During the dinner service, the chef was present to give explanations and descriptions of the food selections.

I would definitely stay here again.

I have been staying here a couple of times during 2011. Its because of the location and the "international" standard I choose this place for my business trips in Arusha. Its located outside from the city centre, but not too far, and you always need or should take a taxi if you are going anywhere, so for that reason its location is not bad.
The view (if you ask for the golf course side) is very nice. Green and lush garden with a few fairways and greens from the nearby golf course makes me feel good.
The hotel has not the Swahili style that many tourists likes, so if you want a more autentic Tanzanian flavoured place, choose a smaller lodge or even the New Arusha hotel in the absolut centre of town.
The rooms are very clean and nice enough. The staffs are like on any other big hotel... some very good, some not too good, and the rest in between....
Im always eating out of the hotel, after I tried the buffet once... Plenty of good restaurants in Arusha.
But, all in all, its not a bad place to stay for a few nights.

Rooms are probably the most functional in Arusha, esp for business travel and the location is convenient. Staff could not be more helpful but the buffet food is best avoided,

Beautiful Hotel with a hint of European flavor. Very clean, very just about everything. Excellent food. Internet didn't knock me off once, beautiful scenery and more than one place to eat at that hotel. Only problem, still a young staff that needs more training and is a little weak on the English language, especially regional American accents. I would suggest that the management work on both training and English, especially American accents. Staff was friendly but again, they lacked training and were weak on American English accents. Hotel was completely renovated and is different as night and day from before. This an upscale hotel and yes, it costs a little more than the other hotels in Arusha.
