We stayed here for one day prior to our 2am flight home. We were booked in a lovely suite with an indoor and outdoor seating area. We did a coffee tour, which was a lot of fun, and getting to sample the coffee was wonderful.

Dinner was fine but it was not the best food of the trip. It was clearly trying too hard to be fancy rather than focusing on preparing food simply. On the other hand, the buffet lunch was very good, largely because it just focused on preparing fresh food simply, such as the BBQ meat on the roasting spits.

Overall, this was a nice way to wind down our trip.

The Coffee Lodge has excellent rooms and great quality food which unfortunately we experienced to only a limited degree due to the fact that Kenya Airways cancelled our original flight so we arrived at about 2 in the morning. It is quite a long haul from the main international airport (Kilimanjaro Airport), but in an ideal position for the local Arusha airport which does all the short hop internal flights and the road out to Tarangire and Ngorogoro Crater national parks. Great service, even at 2 a.m. excellent food and friendly staff who were very willing to take you out onto the coffee plantation (worth it, as the flora and fauna are quite interesting). AND their coffee was the best we came across in our travels of Tanzania.

Wish we could have stayed longer. This place has great food and great service. It would be a great place to relax after getting back from a safari. Rooms where very nice and cozy! It is surrounded by coffee trees and is laid out nicely for a quiet relaxing place to stay.

The Arusha Coffee Lodge was fabulous from our arrival to our departure. Our lodge was beautifully decorated and the layout perfect. We took an afternoon tour of the coffee plantation, which was a nice way to spend an early afternoon. The dining room was lovely and the food fantastic. Breakfast the next morning was very good. We each had facials in the afternoon and were happy with the service. Overall, it was the perfect place to start our safari vacation.
We had accidentally left an iPadwhen we left. Our lodge in the Serengeti called the Coffee Lodge and the iPad arrived the next day. Very great service!!! Thank you.

We stayed at the Arusha Coffee House the first day of our vacation to acclimate to the time zone change. We were very pleased with the hotel and grounds. We had nice walks in the coffee plantation and saw a wonderful family of monkeys playing right outside our window! The rooms were very comfortable, the bathrooms were modern and the food was good. The staff was excellent, very accommodating and helpful. We loved Africa and plan to go back. We would stay at Arusha Coffee Lodge again!
