... you've gotta go and get your fill at big bite. tremendous. authentic. best indian i've eaten, hands down... whether in the uk, inda, or here at home, nothing has matched this place. and in arusha! what a fantastic surprise, and a welcome luxury after a week on the mountain. i personally recommend the chili paneer, but really, i went a couple of times with big groups and everything - EVERYTHING - was tasty. the owner seemed to always be there, and made an effort to make sure you feel welcome - and to explain that the reason everything tastes so good is that it's all local... as one might suspect, given the location. whether it's the fresh-off-kili, organic/fair-trade/locally-grown, or some other mystery factor (like, say, it's just straight up delicious), this place was great.
word of warning: while the food is definitely 5-star, the decor isn't. i'm just managing expectations here... don't let it dissuade you!
